That has never happened to my 2016.
Until this morning at 730am, when I went to take the kid to the bus stop. Motherfucker was that fucking annoying.
Active recall that lasts 10 years if it keeps doing it.

My buddy never had a problem so some do and some don't. It's weird, mine didn't freeze until the 2nd winter. Aluminum and plastic is a good freezing combo I guess. But it won't rust so there's that. Lol.

There's a FordPass app you can load into your phone, type in the VIN and see all the recalls as well as service history if you want.

Both my Jeep and truck are 21 yrs and still take me everywhere I need to be.;-)
I would have kept my 11 year old truck but it started to rust and they wanted $3500 to fix it right. So I fixed it myself with 2 cans of spray paint and sandpaper.

Unfortunately, it only lasted a couple months before the bottoms of the doors and wheel wells bubbled through again. I'm no auto body guy.

Yeah currently I have arguments with my car's logic. It's like having a teenager all over again. I'll be really happy when car tech hits 30
My '13 Camry is the sweet spot of automotive intelligence for me. She will let me know when I have a flat, which is very useful. She also signals losing traction, as if your ass trying to grip the seat didn't already alert you to that fact. Non vocal though. I like that.

Mine's non-vocal and a 2018, not the wave of the future, but I got tired of living on the bleeding edge.

Sold, traded and appraised vehicles for long time. In used condition is everything, on the level of make/model. Most vehicles these days are just pretty damn good.

Subaru has been a leader in awd for decades and my son has a Legacy to get up his drive.

My wife and I always buy used now and I drive a Pilot and she has a 2010 Sentra, love em both.

sensible choices, I dug the sentra I had as a rental and we were looking hard at getting one for the wife.

seriously glad to hear you are Ok. My sister just went through this. She got head-onned by a pickup on an icy turn and she banked her camaro. wound up with a broken leg. I'm just so stoked to hear that you walked out of it. Scary, dude.
