It's a couple or 3 hours off the beaten path, but I've been seeing a lot of cars with Blue Knob license plate holders lately.

An unusual place, mostly 2-3 yr. old cars that came off leases. Row after row of them, like a 1000 cars. Prices marked a couple grand below retail, no haggling except for trade in value.

My buddy bought one. Half price of new. Something to consider. They're all used as soon as you drive them off the lot .
Am I alone in thinking that Blue Knob sounds like a possibly painful condition?

She currently has a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagon. We bought it new a little over 9 years ago. It's been a pretty ok car. Hasn't needed anything major yet. Little shittin $150 links and shit here and there. But like most cars in the NE here everything underneath is rusty. I've been looking at AWD Hyundai Kona and AWD Kia Sportage because the warranties are so good. Bumper to bumper 5 years/60kmiles on both. 10 years/100k powertrain on both. But think the best value might be in trading it back in to the Subaru dealer and getting another Impreza. Only a 3year/36k mile bumper to bumper and 5year/60k powertrain. The Hyundai and the Kia are both alittle more loaded than the impreza too. You guys have any opinions?

Kona

Sportage

Impreza

Hub said stay with Subaru

So I was looking at the dealer website and seen that one of the sales guys is a dude I went to high school with that was always a straight shooter. So I messaged him about setting up a time to come talk to him tomorrow. Haven't heard back yet. Thats makes me feel alittle better about the whole situation though.

check out the prices from these guys before you commit. they supposed to have the cheapest prices in the nation: people fly in and drive them back it's so cheap (allegedly)

Ehh, the difference where I'm at only appears to be a couple hundred at most. The wife wants a sunroof and can't be talked out of it. No matter how many times I tell her that they're completely fucking useless. So that package adds like 2k to any car.

All the options you have laid out in the OP are shit. Get yourself some VW goodness. A golf is a much better car than any of the garbage listed in the OP.

Volkswagen in German translates to Scheisse.
I heard it translated to people's car...

Isn't a single bad car in the whole VW group family. Vw, Audi, Porsche, can't go wrong. Built like little tanks, never breaks, ez to work on, cheap like borsh, drive very gud. :bigjoint:
