You wil definitely need a source of compost...add in some worm castings...that's all I would add into a bagged mix before vegging in it but you could get something like jobes organic spikes to help your plants all the way through bloom phase; they will feed them for 8 weeks. I add 2 in each container just before flipping. I also suggest using a liquid organic fertilizer like neptunes harvest. A combo of liquid fish, FF big bloom, EWC, kelp meal and molasses makes a killer AACT when bubbled for 24+ hours. Give this as often as every 2 weeks up to about week 6 of flowering then just water only until chop.
After your first run with this mix recycle it by dropping the spent root ball it in a tote & adding in more compost. By then you should have aquired whatever amendments you want to add in like kelp meal, SRP, rock dust, gypsum, alfalfa meal, etc. to recharge the soil. Let it set for a month; allowing enough time for "cooking" amendments into the soil is super important. Your mix will get even better every time you do this. Eventually all you'll need to give them is clean water and maybe an occasional AACT just to keep the microbial party rockin. Check out my thread in the organic section if ya want to see how I do it:

What would be a nice tea to feed my month old seedlings. Just big bloom at a quarter strength, ewc and molasses?? I have some nitrogen guano 5.0.0, mykos and happy frog jump start 3.4.3 I have yet to use. Any suggestions will be greatly sufficed.

Water only (non chlorine!!!) is best until they get some nodes on them but I give pretty much that same tea recipe listed above regardless of growth phase, it's all purpose and you can always dilute it as needed. You can add in some guano to the recipe or substitute it instead of liquid fish if they are big enough; don't get too crazy though a few pellets is enough for a couple gal of tea. Guanos really do up the bacteria population of any tea; always foams up nicely. I would not skip the kelp though it is very good probiotic. Keep in mind the goal of an aerated tea is to increase microbial activity; does not to do much to feed your plants directly. Lots of other AACT recipes to choose from though they all do basically the same thing; it's all up to your own preference and/or availability.
Save the mykos, awesome stuff btw, for when you do transplants which you should do often until your mix reaches supernaturally active status. It takes a few recycles with amendments and compost to get there. If plants are getting pale you should have potted up last week; bigger is almost always better. Sprinkle mycorrhizae in the hole and place the root ball on it directly. It only works when in contact with roots. I don't know about jump start I never used it but I have used 5-5-5 happy frog dry fertilizer which is a good amendment to cook into recycling soil. In the meantime consider starting a worm bin. Vermicomposting IMO is the best thing any soil grower can do to up their game to baller status.

IMG_0814.PNG Underneath this bed I made there is mounds of worms. What can I add to feed them. Maybe make a worm bin

If that is a bed for planting you can add in some dried or wet leaves on top but they will take time to break down. Pretty fast outdoors though. What you want for outdoors is a simple compost bin or pit that you can put organic kitchen scraps in. When I say a worm bin I'm taking about something you can easily harvest worm castings from. You could start a worm bin in a smartpot if you wanted to but IMO a tray style system like this is easiest to work with because the trays make it a snap to separate the worms from the finished compost:

Not only that but you want red wigglers for vermicomposting. You could try to find them outside in the ground but it's really cheap to get them ordered and then they will stay in the bin making food for your plants from your organic waste indefinitely.
Either way if you know there are worms living in your bed there you shouldn't need to do much to prepare that for planting as they do most of the work already. Is this where you are planning your grow? I always assume indoors cuz I grow indoor lol

I cultivated the bottom of the bed. Soil was ph of 8 so I put some Powdered lime to buffer it.
Then on top of that I added recycled soil from last grow. Adding about 4 cups of hf jump start 3.4.3 to it.

I'm brewing a
2gallon tea with tsp big bloom
Tsp bat guano 5.0.0
Cup of castings
Bu's compost bag
Tsp molasses
Pinch of white shark to get microbial life rocking. Add 2 more gallons to dilute
I was going to add 4 cups of jump start 3.4.3 to the recycled soil with some castings as well and spray it with the brewing tea.
