XxNinjaxX is Saying GoodBye to 2 Old Friends

Hello Guys & Gals..
Thanks for tuning in to what will be my last 'Journal -Grow'.
I have decided to move on with my strains. I am saying Goodbye to 2 Very Loyal Strains..
Due to be flowered are my: Super Lemon Haze Mother & Blue Cheese Mother..
It will be sad to see them go, but they will be making way for such strains as: Original Dairy Berry & Magic Bud.

These plants have spent their lives each under a 125W CFL.
They are in a R/DWC Setup.
Here is a shot of the Girls in Veg.

They have now been moved into their flower locations and are sharing a 400W HPS.

This is the Super Lemon Haze Mother. She is a bit battered looking, but a 40min car-ride in the boot of my car, wrapped in a tarp would leave all of us a bit battered looking i think..
She has a vast amount of branches though, so im sure she will bounce back nicely.



This is the Blue Cheese Mother, and she has SO MANY tops, due to constant cuttings & prunings.

I am going to give the girls a few days to recover from the car ride and get used to the 400W HPS, then i will probably add another 400W in there and start to flower a few days later.
Going from a 125W CFL to a 400W HPS each can be quite a shock so i wish to make sure it is done as smoothly as possible.

Feel Free to Post anyway with any random nonsense u can think of

Ill grab a seat. Should be some phat nugs shortly. How you like the bc? I'm assuming a lot since u kept her so long. The pheno I have seems way off. Great yielder but that's about it. Been eyein slh for a while now just too caught up on the ssh. Love that shit. GL man

Nice to have you here SensiSensai, The SSH is Nice, but the SLH is a clear Upgrade. The BC is a lovely plant. She just takes awhile to get off her ass and do anything when it comes to flowering..

Stops the plant from falling over, the Hydroton is a bit slack at holding up a plant that big..
Equal string from 4 places means it cant 'Give' in any direction.

Be interesting to see how much you get off the Cheese dude. That many tops should give fuck loads of buds right?

Did you take any cuttings off the cheese before you switched them?

I grew out a mother last grow. It was a monster by the time it was harvested. I trained it the best I could but there were far too many tips to deal with.

9 weeks seems like a long time.

Welcome Rusty - relax brutha, they have not been switched to flower yet. I am adding another 400W HPS in there within the week, and they will be given a few days to get used to that, then they will go the switch.
9 Weeks.. It will go by in an instance..
