my girl :)
some of her hairs are turning brown.. why is that?
could it be from accidentally touching it?
im using flowering nutes "garden pro superbloom 10-40-25" is that good? or is that too much nitrogen?
i havent had any problems with her during flower so far and i flipped her on july 30th.
any info would be great.
im using a 200w led panel and a 40w soft white cfl and 2 26w cfls, one is daylight the other is soft white.
temps are 26-32 degrees C. but i always have fans on them so they dont over heat.
havent had any heat issues at all
anyway, thanks for the help!
pic shows it

Early turning of the pistils could be a few things. They could have been damaged(touched), heat stress or even pollinated. They look fine in the pics, leaf color is hard to tell in the LED lights though.

if its on a taller bud i would guess it got a little close to one of your blue led's maybe ?
noticed in this pic a white residue on the leaves do you foliar feed ?

It's what your pistils do. When the pistil becomes un-viable it drys out, and turns color, some brown, some orange, some red. all depends on the strain.
If anything it's a good sign. Your plant maturing.

thanks for all the help guys! i dont foliar feed, it has the residue cause that leaf sits on the ground and gets wet when i water.
leaf color is all good.
maybe i did get a drop of nute water on it?
theres 3 or so buds that have a few brown hairs on them.
i will keep an eye on them and see if they continue to brown or not.
im hoping its just normal wear and tear.

yes probably a drop of water you ever burned ants with a magnifying glass ? same principle 10 times worse if it had heavy nutes in it

but its normal for the hairs to turn orange later in flower but when its real spotty or just on buds reaching for the light then its a light burn or temp thing
i was just asking about the white stuff out of curiosity
im still learning myself and have never been a fan of foliar feeding i always burn my plants :(
and you have some pretty plants there buddy so i was trying to get your secrets j/k j/k ;)

Its fine OP: Pistils will emerge, then dry and vanish and new ones will emerge. This is totally normal and one of the reasons you check the trichomes, not the pistils when assessing bud maturity.

maybe they need proper sunlight for their healthy and routinal growth that would prove to be ideal one for it, try it maybe next time they get healthier

Pistils will change color at different times depending on strain. Ive got a super lemon haze thats already starting to get orange pistils at 5 weeks while the kosher kush I have next to it is still almost all white.
