Which state do you think is best overall for someone who's been a grower for a while and wants to move somewhere that they can grow without worrying about the law as much as possible. I'm looking to grow enough to make a decent living not push limits.

I only grow top quality, not bullshit commercial.

In your opinion, which state is best for:

1. Demand for product at sustainable prices
2. Minimal worrying about police if following the legal framework properly (nothing you can do about DEA or overzealous cops)
3. Clear legal framework to follow

Please post why you think your choice is best!

PS - I put only these 4 states because they're the only ones I'm really considering. Most of the other medical states seem way too restrictive and I just couldn't even do AZ.

Colorado market is extremely flooded, has been for years now, and with Amendment 64 passing it has gotten that much worse.
The money is where the laws are toughest.
Colorado's legal "framework" says no selling, if you are a caregiver you can only sell to your 5 patients, and only for what you have into growing the meds, plus you are supposed to do more than just grow for them.

I'm talking about growing in CO for legal distribution, not medical. Same for WA. OR or CA would be medical obviously. I know they passed some regulations in CO on the legal framework this week but I didn't see much specifics anywhere on the situation for legal growers getting their product to market.

And yes I know I can make more money in a medical state. The point was to do it somewhere you don't have to worry about the local PD busting down your doors, although even med-legal there's no 100% guarantee.

You cannot sell to shops here unless you are licensed with the state. Currently MMCs must produce 70% of their own product, with the other 30% coming from OPCs.
Rec sales will be tracked from seed to sale and you will have to be registered with the state still. Colorado is huge about not letting the black market profit off of this industry. If you want in Colorado's market you are going to have to have lived here for 2 + years, and get licensed through the state.
