18/6 is the common veg photoperiod

24/0, 20/4, 18/6, heck i did my veg 12/12 all the way through. Matters what you want at the end, if your space is limited such as mine the 12/12 works well. If you want your standard photoperiod grow and a lower electricity bill 18/6. If you want super fast growth at expense of possible heat problems, 24/0
