Vaping?

Hello,

I've heard a lot about Vaporizers being really great. Better smoke, better taste, easier on the lungs, ect. Is all that true?

I've been looking around today and was going to order the Arizer Extreme Q found at (www.vaporseller.com/arizer-extreme-q-midnight.html). The main thing thats throwing me off is all the different options and heat settings >.< seems like a lot of moving parts for someone whos only used little spoon pipes and joints.

Would someone mind giving me a breakdown on how those desktop vapes work? Super sorry if this is a noobish question lol, feel silly even asking haha. Just not very prevalent in my area.

The desktop vapes work by heating up to a specific temperature (before combustion) and vaporizing the thc content of your herb so you can inhale just the thc (and I'm sure some other thing)

There are diff kinds, whip style, balloon. That's just personal preference.

Imo I've bought them all and the volcano has never been replaced. Mines 4 years old with daily use and is simply the best. It uses a balloon and I love it. Save up and get it and thank me in the future.

I have the extreme q vaporizer. It's great, just gotta let it heat up for 10-15 before you vape for the best experience.

It is simple to use, best to grind the herb when loading it. Turn it on (to whatever temp you vape at, I think I have mine at 350), let it warm up, then either suck on the tube or press the button to fill the bag.

Had it for three years or so with semi-regular use. No problems

Thanks both of you for your replies I was looking at the volcano as well, I just think id rather have a tube than the bag. Do all vapes take time to warm up?

Also, I saw that there are different heat settings. Whats the difference? Or, more to the point, how do you know what temp to use?

375 is for herb.... Problem with the whip is that it's always being heated... I used the whip first cause I thought I liked it better... But the balloon is awesome. Let's the vapor get cooler, uses less herb (you remove it off the heat once loon is full) and you are not tied to the desk once it's full.

You can go walk your dog with a balloon but not whip. I've wasted tons of money and owned them all. I have two that I use exclusively and they are the only two I enjoy more then a joint...

The bag is awesome, I thought I'd like the whip off the bat but switched after using it a few times. Haven't touched it since.

I vape at 350 because it tastes better imo. I started at 385 and played around with it between that and 325, and settled on 350. Going over 385 tastes like burnt popcorn. Just gotta play with it a little

It's also the most efficient way to get high on small quantities of marijuana. Buy one for sure.

I may be leaning towards the volcano now. I like the idea of a 'whip' to take pulls from, but they dont seem to have valves or shut offs on them. Is the vapor constantly being made and pushed out the tube? What if you have to take a break? xD

I dont like the idea of hauling around a big balloon, but if its more efficient I will go that route.

Also, any good suggestions on Hand held vapes? Too many options to choose from >.<

Here, lets see if this works. If you were a light smoker (a joint a day at most usually) and were going to buy a vaporizer which one would you choose?

I've got the extreme q as well. My fav temp is 365 using the whip. If you let it sit for 10 min, turn the fan on to 3, it hits great . To me it's almost a different feeling than smoking. Smoking hits me quick and I trip balls. Vaping with the Extreme q is more of a laid back high for me.

I have a hand held I got from a dispensary. I'll have to look up the brand, but it was $50 and not that great. I got it because I wanted to vape dry herb on the go, but the chamber is tiny so I have to keep refilling it frequently. I hear the Arizer solo is good, but not real discrete.

Atoms thermo. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan, but maybe im doing something wrong with it.

I have a volcano and love it. Cant seem to figure out how to take the valve off the old bag to make a new one so haven't used it in a bit. I've owned the pax handheld as well and it was nice but nothing I've vaped out of compares to the volcano. Look on Craigslist. I traded a $200 go pro for mine steal!

I thought the bags I have could be taken apart from the valve and a new bag installed. Can't seem to get it apart tho. It's an orange cap with a black mouthpiece you insert. When you push down on the mouthpiece the vapor can eacape

Did you buy the easy valve system or reg? Easy valve you just buy more and throw away. The regular valve you can replace the bag with any size but it's a bitch to do. It sounds like you have easy valve. I have both and will tell you what you have in the morning.

It's an easy valve.found a how to video and figured it out. Nice and stoned now

I have seen people replace the easy bags but it's much more difficult. Just buy some new ones and smoke an extra for me. Doc says no more smoking till post surgery

Myself I like the Nautilus Aspire as I have a Haze to much trouble and a DaVinci another good one is the Joy tech ego 1 greatfor Vape.
