Toping the middle branches?

Should I cut the tops on the side branches?

Let them catch up to the top .

I'd suggest leaving them-as the plant develops more secondary branches it will be challenging to keep the interior of the plant from choking on its own growth. Alot of this is strain dependent-some of the kush's are so squat it's a battle but on leggy sativa's its not a problem,
