No worries mate - you did me a favour I thought they were part of the packaging ……:wall:
Hey buddy, did you locate the entry point for the longer rod?

There's 1" pieces of plastic in the bag with the rods, I thought they were for the ends of the hanging bars but my ones are far too wide.

Im guessing I've got the ones for a regular sized tent or they're for something else?
Do you know the plastic pieces I'm talking about?

Cheers bud

Hey bud, what size or age is your plants and what light set up are you using?

Under 50% doesn't sound right for the uk unless it's seedlings you have under hid?
Where are you taking the rh% readings from and does the sensor have shroud or sheild from the light?

It's not unusual for light to skew temp and humidity figures.
Hi mate. They were all from seed. The 2 main plants are actually about 6½ weeks from seedling, the banana punch is only 2 weeks from seed. They are under 440w mh. Started at 300w then 400w, yesturday it went up to 440w. I have cool air pulling in under the canopy through a 4" black orcid. Got the 6" black orchid pulling out but i have it on a dimmer switch (i find it useful to control the temp). The rh probably isnt a true reading as i have the fan blowing on it and it also isnt near the intake which is pulling in moist cool air.

Yeah bud I think your right about the readings, ime under 50% hasn't happened outside of seedlings with a 400w mh, that dry spell was only a couple of weeks though.

You can calibrate rh% using salt and a little water.

I think ll feed them tomorrow and put my reader in a more sensible spot and take it from there. Youd need to give me a tutorial on how to callibrate haha.

Hey buddy, nk problem it's simple enough to do:
Mix a half cup of salt into a wet paste, like wet sand you don't want it sodden wet.

Put your rh% sensors onto a tub or sealed bag with salt paste, heat it to 25c and it should read 75%.

You need to give the tub/bag time to acclimatise, the salt needs to either absorb moisture or give it off before you can get a accurate reading, after its settled at 25c it should read 75% rh.

I like them, indoor growing doesn't get much easier.
Na I ain’t stuck thanks tho but if I do get stuck I kno who I am coming to now lol my last run I had 4 plants everything was super easy till week 5 flower when I poured water from top of pot I had all plants go yellow and fu3ked up at the best time so I spent week 5-6 flushing then carried on looks much better now but if I would have knew that would have had some nice bud mega angry (part of the process I guess)
(Also not a soil grower)

But anyway would you recommend auto pots I have a lot of plants aswell so hand feeding was looking very long but yield wise and quilty wise and easyness would you say it’s all good I’m hoping for 4oz-5oz per plant I’m all dialed in with 720 adjusta leds 6week veg

Look good man id be bored though i still like hand watering em would be handy for trips away tho save having to get someone to mind em but mind you if i going that route id probably build a sub irrigated planter bed and just use that saying that folks do get some good results with those auto pots tho so they definitely work

Ive kept an entire garden centre running hand watering at one point abeit its not cannabis and was years back but yeah i know all about having to hand water hundreds of plants so anything under 50 isnt so bad to me lol means your in about em and can spot issues quick as well

Coco in flower 60 plants by my self that means hand watering 2-3 times a day that’s just crazy (coco+hand water=HARDWORK)

Yeah i prefer dirt for that reason so much easier in a few ways and water retention being one of em coco does dry out faster and you always want it wet i give you that man

I've not used them in years, when I did use them I liked them but like @conor c said I got bored with the hands off approach.

I've literally just started with them again so I couldn't really recommend them other than the fact they're self maintaining and give respectable crops.
