Good to know... yeah it's crazy it looks like 3 or 4 of the taller stretchier (not all SD but similar looking) plants are going to finish at 56 days (look done now didn't last night) and only one indica dominant looks to be done at 56... still 5 or 6 days to go so gonna see how they look then hoping for a last minute swell come on come on come on. The good thing about these taller stretchier plants is they all look to be easy trims :)

hey reef my friend was growing space dawg, had different 4 phenos all had barely anything yield and were also very stretchy. very frosty product and good for hash but smelled too similar to my space bomb which i like way better.

DSG ill be praying for you and your daughter tonight.

before anyone gets confused, this is NOT TGA Jinxproof. I decided to make this name after my late cat, Jinx, who was my best friend but passed away with FIP virus. RIP Jinx.

She'll be fine it usually takes like 10 days for healing to begin upon the introduction of antibiotics. I feel for ya and your family though, rough stuff. Too bad no-one has the ability to trade places with their children to take the pain for them. But she'll make it through it and prolly be stronger from it. Best of luck to ya

You can get rid of gnats permanently... just takes some patience, gnatrol (prevents the eggs from hatching) and lots of yellow sticky strips next to honeypot traps. I only ever have issues with them when I have standing water or a lot of moisture around.

As far as the purple ace I've run around 40 aces now i think.. maybe it's only 30.. anyway, don't take the ace you got as representative - it seems you can get any mix and match of genetic traits in between the parents. I've had purple phenos that were pure black cherry soda phenos, fruit punch varieties and less tastey ones... the purple ones for me have almost always been at least fruit punchy. I've never had any ace of spades that wasn't awesome at least the first time you have it... some phenos get a real quick tolerance buildup. For me it's one of the tga strains with the most narcotic body highs. The jack leaners can be stupefying. You just gotta find the right pheno. I've seen them tested as high as around 22% thc for the more elite phenos, I believe it's around 15% average. Thc % isn't everything though.

I'm looking for the pure purple chunky indica ace, smells/tastes like pure black cherry soda, 22% thc and no nanners at 8 weeks
thanks a bunch for the info. im going to check if my local shop carries that gnatrol. i've used dr doom bombs, azamax, fertilome's fruit tree spray(my favorite so far), captain jacks, dawn dish soap spray, and several other. none permanently solved the problem but fertilome fruit tree spray helps keep them at bay. in hydro it eliminates them easily though. but i do soil and an occasional dwc on the side. the fertilome fruit tree spray has neem and pyrethrin. i have at least 1 sticky trap on the surface of the soil of every plant. i also hang them on the walls and place them randomly in all my rooms. i havent seen any flying around in a couple months but the aphid infestation on my hydro's roots alarmed me. some were starting to grow wings. im sure they're or the larva are lurking in the soil plants as well even though i spray. i always remove any leaf in the soil. the soil i use is fertilome ultimate potting mix. i usually buy about 10 bags at a time and store them in the shower(i dont live at my grow). i havent seen any gnats buzzing around since i got the stuff. i never use fox farm or roots organic because those are always came with gnats when i got them. i would see them buzzing around the bags in the bathroom when i had them. they're also buzzing all over the several hydro shops i got them from probably spreading to other soils. i cant say for sure where they came from but those 2 soils seem to have them. i used to use sunshine pro mix #4 but i get a better price on the fertilome. plus it seems like there is a little too much perlite in the #4. i also like how the fertilome has a wetting agent so the soil isnt so dusty. i still always wear a dust mask, peat moss is terrible for your lungs. i recently was real sick with a cold/flu and probably some kind of infection. i brought some old soil home and my vents in my car were blowing it around. i was coughing like crazy the whole ride. i actually coughed up blood when i got home it was so bad. called my dr and said my condition was getting worse. started clearing up after taking antibiotics. glad to be back to work at my grow. guess my dumbassness should be a lesson for everyone. always wear a dust mask when handling soil. its probably worse for our lungs than the stuff we smoke. it could just be a coincidence but i always seem to cough a lot more around peat moss. my lungs are so fucked i actually quit smoking for 4 days. ever since i only take a few hits every night from a vaporizer and it's still harsh. i feel like an old man and im not even 40 yet and dont smoke cigarettes LOL.

i also thought of tanlin http://htgsupply.com/Product-CX-TANLIN know if it's any good?

That sucks yeah give your lungs a rest they should get better. But yeah gotta take precautions I know I don't enough either :) Vermiculite is rarely used these days because the powder can cause permanent problems if it gets in your lungs.

Anyway as far as the gnats I created a good honey pot trap that was pretty effective. Small pots of soil water til saturated with water mixed with a strong dose of molasses to attract the gnats (gnatrol too to prevent them from reproducing). Put the little yellow sticky strips to catch the gnats over the top of the pot like prison bars. Put the traps anywhere the gnats are spotted flying around. You'll find hundreds of gnats on the yellow sticky strips before too long if you've got a serious infestation going. Last time I did this I had to change the yellow strips out one time (completely covered in gnats) and after that all the gnats were gone caught by the traps or couldn't reproduce properly due to the gnatrol.

Just make sure you cook the Super Soil first. I ran it hot the first time and got a ton of burnt tips :)

Cheers,

I could run nothing but Timewreck and A13BX for the rest of my life and be completely content.

Reminds me.. I really gotta try Vortex!
