what type of circulating fan do you use? i cannot find a clip on one that can actually clip on without falling down. any help? or would a fan be alright on the ground blowing up through the plants.?

I have always had a small oscilating fan blowing the under canopy. But if you cant find one that will clip on then use a standing oscilating fan.

I got one of those duel sided fans you put in a window and just set it up on ratchet ropes. Works AMAZINGLY well but they cost about 47 bucks so its not a cheap solution.

I run one of these on the floor as an intake fan. It runs 24/7 and has my tent about 70 degrees with 1k hps light on.

I've just install bathroom fan as intake (50cfm) to suck fresh air directly near open window + oscilating fan suspended with chain. the outake is aprox 150cfm (448cfm fan with speedster at lower speed), for just 1000w it's enough to close all ''zipper'' and kill all odor and light leak. When i just open the door of the tent and put ocilating fan the smell is so powerfull. :)

I just have a 40cm fan that I have secured to the middle rails on the top of the tent blowing directly down like a roof fan . $10 and works awesome.

I too have struggled with this. I did find a 6 inch clip fan at Big Lots that actually clips to the tent pole. It doesn't oscillate though unfortunately. I actually have an extra of those dual window fans that I may throw in as well since others like them. I have a humidifier (ultrasonic cool mist) on the outside of the tent on the floor by the passive intake. My fan keeps an excellent negative air pressure so the mist is pulled right in and keeps my humidity around 45-55% during veg. Will the moisture be too much for that window fan if I fix the fan right on the inside of the passive vent? I could put it on the other side, but that would interrupt the flow of air to my exhaust as the exhaust is top left and the intake is bottom right. The clip fan is already right above the passive intake blowing up at the canopy and toward the light and therefore toward the exhaust.

I have a 16" oscillating stand fan in my tent blowing on my canopy. And I have a 6" oscillating fan to move the air underneath the canopy. That's not including a 6" booster for intake, and a 6" inline split with a y. Half pulls air from the tent and the other half pulls cool air from outside and through my hood.
