Yeah she (Purplehuna) isn't a great yielder, but the color/look and taste always keep me coming back for more.

Yeah I call it Urp, but it was a cut gifted to me and they call it Purplehuna. Very happy to get my hands on it. You haven't seen it because it's not available to the public. A local clone-only if you will.

Update as promised. I finally went out and bought a tri-pod and a decent backround. So I had to take some pictures.

QT (#1)- This particular plant was used to determine sex and is a little farther ahead than the one I have previously taken photo's of.

More QT (#1) (Batch after determining sex.)

And here is some of my favorite at this point, my lime Chernobyl (#1) cut. She isn't as photogenic yet as the QT, but she just stands out at the most so far.

They are both Qrazy Train (#1,#2) and Chernobyl (#1,#2) at day 45.

I have some sexing testers (small plants) that are 10 days older and I am kind of excited b/c once I determined the DQ was a male I hit/brushed the tester's with some pollen just for fun. So I will have DQ x QT (both phenos) and DQ x CNobyl (both phenos) to try for some future grows. And the DQ male I had was one stinky boy. The future looks good.

If you look closely at this photo you can see the seed trying to come out of QT #1 x DQ.

I wish I did the same.... I had 2 chernobyls at the beginning of this grow, one just grew to good to be true, but it was and ended up being a very sativa looking male and I chopped it down not wanting to chance an accidental burst in my tent, however 2-3 weeks later I'm wishing I saved a few cuts of that male to do the same thing. I still have 6 left out of a 10pk of chernobyl left so I'm sure theres gotta be at least one in there, however I'm more inclined to grow out those looking for that lime pheno you have, not exactly sure what the one I have is yet but the leaves on my cut look a bit thicker/more indica-ish than yours, but so far she's the farthest along in my group of 10-11 plants in bloom (way to many, 4 per light max for me next time).

Good luck, I'll definitely be hanging around to see how yours turn out.

Thank you.

Yeah the Chernobyl #1 reeks of lime/lemon just as Sub describes. My Chernobyl #2 has more trich's, but doesn't have the lime smell. It is starting to pick up a slight smell, but I haven't been able to put my finger on it.

My Cnobyl's are both Sativa leaning and both my QT's are Indica/Urkel leaning. I will make atleast 3 to 4 runs with each pheno before determining my favorites, but from what I can tell now Cnobyl #1 and QT #1 are winning the race.

We were talking about the early fade in Vortex. I arrested it with top dressing but I did some searching and found this on Apollo 13 which is vortex mom.
#3 from Sub
https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/69082-apollo-13-a.html

She likes a lot of high Nitrogen nutrients all the way up to day 30 of budding or she will start to fade to early making harvest an even bigger nightmare with yellow leaves curled over each bud.

Interesting how much you can learn about researching mom and dad instead of the strain itself

BHB,
Nice work on the info. Yeah, it's just like with any strain you have to dial them in and sometimes it takes a few grows. You need to start a thread and throw up some pic's of your Vortex. I always like to see some TGA gear pic's from people using supersoil. The results speak for themselves.

Rrog, Thanks bro. By the way, did you end up with a pink pheno on your P-berry? You need to throw up some pic's too.

And Budologist, thank you for the kind words.

Updates coming soon.

I just harvested three PBs today. Because of my super cramped space I have some nice fat colas which were ready to harvest, and some not quite ready popcorn. Once the leaves were trimmed back and I was away from the HPS, the bud is quite purple. Nice surprise. I still have a SSH growing. The PB buds are all hanging in the same area as the SSH, so I covered them partially with black plastic. More to keep the humidity up than to shield them from light. I like to get the bud to 70% Rh before I jar them for the cure don to 60%. I just don't want to go from live plant to 70% too quickly. In this case I had little choice.

Rrog,

Nice. Harvesting is the best part. Well throw up some pic's and a smoke report when you get a chance.

Is their a pheno that you are looking foward to smoking the most?

I'm curious as to how the SSH is handling the SuperSoil ?

I'll get some pics. The SSH is exploding! I have it in a scrog and still required additional ties. The SS is really doing the job. I have 7 gallon pails going, and not a sign of lacking anything nutritionally.

So my goal was to get QT in this week for the pic of the week. And I am quite pleased as it is the main/head shot this time. Check it out.

It's on the right hand side of the home page with the title Pix of the crop. That is my QT #1 (pic in post #25) urkel pheno from about a week ago. I must give an assist to Subcool because his photo taking 101 threads that are out there were a huge help.

http://hightimes.com/

So now my new goal is to get Cnobyl in the mix next week.

And what better way to do that then a new photo session.

CNobyl #1 (51 Days)- Finally packing on some weight and filling out. Still smells very limey.

678.jpg683.jpg681.jpg600.jpg599.jpg591.jpg

CNobyl #2 (Day 51)- The trich's on this are this are everywhere.

673.jpg664.jpg685.jpg

QT #1 (51 days) - Very nice looking and very stocky.

611.jpg616.jpg620.jpg

And here is my sex tester of QT#1 (pulled at 59 days) that was hit with a DQ male.

Update

QT #1 (Day 59)

QT #2 (59 days)- First look at this lady. She is very similiar to #1, short, stocky and urkle leaning. Looks and feels like she will have rock hard/dense nuggets. She is turning out to be a beauty. It will be tough to select from these two.

Chernobyl #1 (Day 59)

Chernobyl #2 (Day 59)- The smell by CN #1 is amazing, but the trich's on this beauty are quite photogenic.

EDIT:

Sorry the pics aren't working. You will have to match the descriptions with the pics in the next posts.
