Stretch / Scrog HELP!

Hi there,

Recently just started my first scrog and all was going well up until about day 8 of flowering lol. when the plants started to stretch in their rapid state they completely overpowered my scrog net and day by day pushed it off of its supports. before day 8 I could secure all 4 corners but 1 less every day with each day of growth. now I am at day 12 of flower and am starting to fear the worst here....

the plants are about half way through their stretch or just over but now are getting extremely close to the light. they are about 8 inches away from basically touching the thing. I have turned off the red LED lights and lollipopped to hopefully slow growth but I don't have much room for error left...

not only that but it seems that now the plants have pushed the scrog net off of its supports it has started to uneven the canopy again and start bringing the edges of the plant towards the centre. it looks like it should still yield ok. theres a fair few heads if you look around and the plants are super healthy :D!

Shall i just remove the scrog net at this point? it seems like the plants are doing what they want anyway lol or shall i keep tucking under the loose net? thinking of just removing the net and trying to rotate the plants around so the higher heads stay towards the back wall away from the light. but i'm not even sure if that will work by the time they finish stretch lol.

Anyway here are a few pics.... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :D!

first, if possible... raise the lights! even if this means cutting a hole in the top so you can fit your lights in perfectly, if you can't you're fucked on that matter.
get some strong fixation points to re-attach the scrog. take your time bending / supercropping your girls so they will fit back under the scrog. even if this means removing some tops :(
In my opinion it's better to lose a bit of your crop than having to start over again!

what you could also do is switch to a 250w hps, (winged hood) and add 4 cfl's in the corners for additional lighting. looks like your grow room is about the same size as mine(mine is 1.2m high, 0.6m deep, and 1.2m wide ). i rock 4 x 25w cfls and 250w, i'm in my 2Nd grow now and i'm getting the hang of it, growing some realy nice auto's right now!

You need to anchor your net down better any way you can because obviously cannabis plants are really strong, tighten your net if possible or you will run out of room. Good luck

Thanks for the advice :) I can not move the light in any way but I have just supercropped a bunch and it has bought me more room. not sure if it will still be enough but its something at least. I will try to secure the scrog net more tomorrow. now the plants are going to be shocked. I thought it might be a bit late to do a super crop as i am nearly 2 weeks into flower but i suppose if I am to do it then it should be sooner rather than later. and I don't have much other choice. hopefully it will still be ok.

Put some hooks in the walls and pull/hook that net tight as a motherfucker. Don't let it lay so loose

But nice job supercropping and getting her back under, you'll be all good

yeah you can see where the hooks are in the first picture i posted. the plants are a good few inches above that now. closer now they have been supercropped but i still dont think i could secure all 4 corners. I will try tomorrow to knot them properly or add something to secure the net.

Hopefully the stretch should stop after 21 days anyway. not sure if it will continue a little past that now because the super cropping might slow things down but hopefully it will still be managable. Thanks for the help :P
