Im looking for an led light that can truly replace a 1000 watt hps. My goal is to yield a pound per harvest. Im looking for 1 light not multiple lights. Ive seen the at 600 (from green genes (tags) garden and im sure this will do it but im open to other lights that will also foot the bill. Anyone ever try the diamond series xml 650? Any suggestions are welcome.

why does it have to be "one" light ? I understand not wanting a whole bunch of small lights (like the new A51 single cob light), but I find it easier to manage 2 or 3 lights instead of a single at600.

Area 51 is a great company from what ive heard/read. I think theyre about 90 watts a piece. Id need at least 6 to match the output of the 1000 hps. This is a lot of weight hanging from my tent. Not counting the fan filter combo. But id definitely consider it if i upgraded to a gorilla tent.

To 'beat' an HPS thouie convincingly, I plan to use 800W of CXB3590 driven at fifty watts each, or 16 chips on 4 drivers. I'll have them on 4 fixtures so I can spread them as I like.

Why? Because it is important to not only beat a thouie on total output, but the light distribution pattern as well. Both contribute to improved yields and quality.

Did you notice what the weight of the AT600 is?
I've been eyeing the Apache product myself but would go with 4 AT200 instead of the AT600. Better spread, less hot spot in the middle.
Apache told me they would work with me at getting the pricing of 4 AT200's as close as possible to the AT600 when ready to buy.
Might want to email them

I didn't know you had an at600. How's it working for you?
