Single Pull Reflector Hanger?

Has anyone rigged up a system that allows the light to be raised & lowered via a single pull (I was thinking wire rope). Ideally something that could be used to make the adjustment rope away from the light/plants so you wouldn't have to lean over the plants and try to adjust each side and make it even.

I was thinking of hooking wire rope to the metal V hangars on the hood. Then running each side up to its own eye bolt. The wire would pass through the eye bolt and both would travel horizontally along the ceiling to another eye bolt in the center where they would be threaded through and then joined by attaching a single wire rope to both ends. It would end up looking like a T.

Then I was thinking of having a strip of wood attached to the wall near the entrance of the flowering area with hooks anchored at intervals of a few inches. Then I could hook the end of the wire rope to the hooks.

Seems to me that pulleys would make it much smoother and easier. Figured someone here has done this and I was looking for ideas.

Thanks
