Does Tricome color have any actual effect on the type of high?

I saw somewhere, the clear tricomes were more of a energizing head high with less risk of couch lock, and that the more cloudy/amber the more couch lock body high. Any truth to this from yall's personal expirence?

Eh, it’s not as dramatic a difference as you might think. Harvesting early doesn’t give you a sativa effect. It’s more like a racey onset. Harvesting late can make it more mellow, more couch locky. Of course it depends on strain, and harvesting early/late can effect overall potency negatively.

TL;DR
If you want energizing weed, get the right strain. Harvesting a narcotic indica early will just net you decreased potency and maybe a racy onset. Harvest according to each plant’s needs.

Harvest anytime pistil production is nearly done or done. Nothing wrong with a little less amber as long as you got plenty of cloudy. Want more CBN?....wait longer.

Want less "snooze", avoid heavy indicas and dont harvest too late. Look for good hybrids or sativas.

I just really dont want that "brain dead couch lock" kinda high. I just want my pain to go away for awhile leaving my brain function intact.
