Safety of our homemade pieces?

So, recently, I had a really bad, scary high. Now this is not something I'm into - I don't want to trip or any of that shit. I just wanna mellow out.

I"m pretty sure that my problem stemmed from using hot glue in my homemade bong. I really don't need to be told how bad an idea that was so don't bother.

Basically... how safe do you think these franken-bongs we make are? I mean, you're pulling hot smoke through like... a marker tube - that could prolly release toxins... there's potentially hot smoke in your plastic bottle which might release toxins... not to mention ghetto ass aluminum screens/bowls we make which many seem to think are pretty unhealthy.

What should I do to ensure I'm only smoking weed? And please don't say "just go to your headshop and buy a bong" because I just spent 40 bucks on weed and I'd like to smoke it before the next time I get any cash. Also I have no fucking clue where a headshop would be around here.

The only thing I see wrong with the bong is the use of hot glue. Never use any kind of glue. I've smoked a lot of bongs just like that - the glue. You don't need an air tight seal as long as you can get a good draw on it. Not that this is any healthier but it won't taste as bad.

I have to agree with jointsmith, go buy a pack of 99 cent papers at the nearest gas station.

do that and you could even go 2 a smoke shop and get a bowl for a bong and then its glass on metal on glass so its pretty safe and really simple
