Ripper Seeds Germ Rates

Recently ordered 2 single seeds from Herbies pick n mix. 2 x Grape Gum from Ripper Seeds. Gave them to a mate along with a Green Love Potion from SamSara. The GLP germed fine but the two Grape Gums didn't. When I got the seeds I mentioned that they looked old...and specifically mentioned that I thought one wouldn't germ, but the other one looked okay. But nothing in the end.

So just wondering about other people experienced with Ripper Seeds. Im wondering if because they're not the most popular breeders, the seeds could have been at Herbies for a while.

So it's Herbies fault for sending me old seeds?
Or
Ripper Seeds sent bad seeds to Herbies to begin with?

I've never had a problem with Herbies before, but that means nothing really. So has anyone else had germination problems from Ripper Seeds?

Btw, this thread isn't about "bashing" Ripper Seeds or Herbies. Shit just happens sometimes, Im aware of that and so Im not really pissed off or anything...I just want to find out what happend, if possible.

I dropped two of their Double Glock a little over a month ago, both very fast germination and healthy plants so far. Mine were ordered through the tude. Maybe you got an old batch??

Yea thats what I was thinkin...old seeds. So I'll put that down to Herbies sending me oldies. And maybe not entirely Herbies faukt either as Ripper seeds probably arent the most popular so they may have been sitting around for a while. But still, they probably shouldnt have sent them. Strike one for Herbies. Ill still use them because theyv been good to me in the past...but theyve only got two strikes left. lol

And yea, the GLP is awesome. Ive already grown one out in the past and it was shweet. Ive got a Spicy White Devil on the go now 5 weeks into flower and it looking really good. Its gonna yeild really well and is amongst the frostiest plants in my tent.

My last SWD was THE Stinkiest bud I have ever grown, I gave some to some friends and they said it stunk up the gas station parking lot from the enclosed snowmobile trailer.

Sadly, didn't realize what I had and lost her.

Thats interesting. How did it smell whilst growing? Mine is by far the least smelly in my tent. Really got to get your nose into her junk to get a whiff, and then still its pretty weak. Smells good, just not strong.

Did the Jack or the Blueberry come through most on yours? Mine isnt seeming very berry atm.

And Ive got a clone of my lady...and Im glad I do at this point.

Mine didn't put off alot of smell before I chopped her, it was once I dried and started curing. It smelled like a skunks ass after about a week in the jar, maybe a hint of berry in there but nothing prominent.

I have two green love potions and two Spicy White Devils.. mothers and clones.. the SWD is STRONG..it over powers everything else.. big fat frosty buds. The GLP is right behind her... they have a week left.. mothers, the clones another 4 weeks..

I lost a graper gum as well.. it germed great.. then grew DOWN... yea.. it died.. I have a couple more beans.. ill wait a while to start those up again..

Double glock was a tru winner take it to 72j for 60 amber and 40 cloudy the hash he gave me was one of the best ive made real hash taste and spicy with a little sweet touch

I suggest you zombie machine and toxic they are very good too

My buddy just finished up some double glock and he is really happy with it. I havent sampled it yet since it is still curing but I will be soon.
