Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and just had couple questions as this is my first medical grow. Two i have right now are as stated xj13 and snocap.
There currently both in flowering and under a 600watt hps light.
Only nutes been giving during flowering is bud candy from advanced nutrients.
And the two i used during veg was grandma enggys F-1, and sensi cal mg mix.

Both three weeks into flowering and was wondering what you guys think how there looking?
Everythings looks fine to me except on top part both plants the leaves tend droop and hang more then the rest of the plant and lower leaves.. i was wondering if this is maybe due to to much heat?

I have a temp gun checked this morning before i turned light on and temps on both plants were around 67 little lower on lower parts. and with light on just checked temps and hottest on tallest plant at top was about 90.

Thanks for any help P1040098.jpgP1040099.jpgP1040100.jpgP1040104.jpgP1040107.jpgP1040105.jpgP1040106.jpg
First three pics are of snocap last four are of xj-13

i believe pots are 5 gallon pots for both. and i water them everyday or every other. whenever i see soil on top getting dry/or is dry. I was planning on getting fan blow across top area cool it down some..
SO possibly heat stress? and other then that how is everything looking

i think the fan will definitely help your heat issue. other than that it sounds like your watering is fine, and both plants look healthy and green. do you alternate giving them nutrients and plain water? like do you water/feed/water or water/water/feed or do you give them nutrients every watering?

i mix about 4mm of the bud candy in a 2 liter bottle which is a little less then what it says mix. so i just give it that every time i water. should i switch over to water/nutes-water/water? like you mentioned?
also the plants arent as strong of a smell or really that potent smell as when they were in veg. im thinking maybe its from the bud candy nutes and just making it alot milder/sweeter of a smell?

if you're using a little less than reccommended you should be fine. the smell should come back when flowers mature.

Do not change anything that you are doing, if there green as they are stick to your method because its working just fine, in my opinion when you are watering your not watering enough, I would switch to using a gallon for the both of them, are u seeing a good run off when watering? I dont think your using enough, the roots way down at the bottom arent getting any, throw a fan in there as well, even if you arent having heat issues you must have a god air circulation. Hope I helped any more questions fell free to fire away

You want to see a good runoff, you have holes in the bottom of that 5 gallon bucket right? Water till you see it coming out thebottom

some of the bigger fan leaves though are getting little bit yellow on them should i still be using the sensical cal and mag and the grandmas enggys f-1 nutes still through flowering? or just bud candy is fine?

i'm not too sure myself, but in soil less is usually more in terms of letting a plant do its thing. you might want to use less calmag in your solution

Alright thanks. i figured maybe was ok i added fan last week cause little to hot temps cooled alot so natural color change maybe? just a few bigger fan leaves starting turn light greenish yellow. Thanks though buds are looking good!

alright ive started notice some leaves started getting lighter in color are getting crispy and dying... what would be the cause of this? i know its not water because i water till see runoff... Only nutes i use right now during flowering is bud candy is that enough? i dont think its heat stress cause the temps are pretty good with my fan running. So could it be not enough nutes? nutrient burn?which i dont think could be since only using bud candy.. Any help would be thankful. pics are still same as before just the lighter colored leaves dying. had to cut few big fan leaves off already from dying on the one plant
