the only problem i have driving stoned is spilling the bong water all over myself.. i really hate when that happens.. :D

but in all seriousness, i've been driving stoned almost as long as i've been driving, and do it rather well. i take my driving skills rather serious, and i'd be the first to admit if i thought that driving stoned was even some what dangerous.. i won't drive drunk, but driving stoned is completely different..
i'd love to see a scientific study on the effects of stoned driving vs sober driving, but until i do, i'll take my own experience on it and say if you're even some what of a decent driver sober, and are not a light weight smoker, driving stoned is not a big deal, at all.. i've noticed my radio gets a bit louder, as does my singing, when i'm driving stoned, that's about it..

What happens if you have a medical card, are medicated, and get into an accident? Thought the law specified not to operate a vehicle, but I could be wrong. If that were the case though, wouldn't it require a lot of people (whom need frequent medication) to turn into hermits or face the possibility of charges (ie; DUI or DWI)? Kinda shitty - especially since most people can control their "influence" pretty well when it comes to MJ. Like some of the others said, it makes me more cautious if anything...opposite of alcohol.

I can sometimes, and sometimes not. I find the standard vehicle I drive (which is a total shit-box) is a pretty good tester. If I stall, at any point in the first 5 seconds - I park and decide it's a good day for a walk....hahaha

When I was in my teens and twenties I did all the time. Especially on long hwy trips out of state w/ a one hitter toking ever 30 min. Always made the driving go faster. I smoked Mexican weed as a younger man most of the time so I never got TOO high. Now in my 40s I have to much to lose and its not worth the risk of jail or probation IMHO. That and the smoke now is way better than what I had access to in the 80s and 90s. Impairment would almost be guaranteed in my case after a fatty..

I took 500mg of morphine 2x a day and would drive wherever I had to including road trips. That video just goes to show that tolerance is built up over time. I would suggest that if the bearded guy and the girl smoked that amount on a regular basis they would improve on their driving over time because it wouldn't affect them the same way.

I did it as a teen all the time, young and dumb or whatever. Now I generally don't drive after medicating, at least not for the first hour. Usually when I need to drive somewhere it's just to run errands or get to/from work anyway so I can wait to medicate. Sometimes I take trips to visit family though and there's a lot of open highway here so a joint is nice for comfort on the long trip. From my experience it depends on your tolerance if you can operate a vehicle responsibly or not while medicated. I'm totally fine cruising the highway after 1 joint, but wouldn't want to do it after a 2 hour bong session or anything.

Teenager - I got lost driving 3 blocks away from my house after brewing BT's under the lamplight for...oh hours. I didn't drive on the pot again.....until....

Last year? Whenever I started smoking weed everyday, and it stopped effecting me.

Still never on the cookies though. Cookies mean foot transport for me... Or a pony. oooooh....

I've been driving since 1979 stoned on weed everyday. I have never been charged for any moving violation.
After smashing back four doobies of good ol' Columbian and a beer I went and passed my road test to operate emergency vehicles in 1980:) I had no problem passing the road test.
Everyone is different so take care:)
