So im using jiffy pots for the first time as this is only my 2nd grow and i saw this one guy grow where he only filled the pots up half way so that when the plants grew taller he could just fill them up to the first set of leaves with dirt make the plants shorter. Thought sweet this is a good idea and did it in my jiffy pots... which wasnt such a good idea because now less than 24 hours after breaking the soil they are already starting to grow out of the bottom! should i immediatly transplantly into their 3 gallon pots or not worry about the growth out of the bottom? i only have the jiffys and the 3 gallon pots i guess maby i could fill up another jiffy pot halfway water that pot and then stick the old pot down inside of the new one or is that a bad idea? thanks as always guys!

You might as well. Vertical root growth is the best kind for the plant. I would put it in it's next pot with a couple inches from them top of the pot. When the seed stretches out of the soil, you can continue to fill dirt all the way up the the most bottom sets of leaves ( or the seed leaves). This will help good roots develope even faster.

You could put them in party cup and delay it a week or 2. Also you have the same temp/RH sensor I have. Your RH is 20%. Thats pretty low, might want to try and hit at least 45 when they are that small.

Lol yeah i know it is low thats why i have the ziplocks over the jiffy pots to create a ghetto humidity dome ;-) Humidity is way high on the actual plants you can see the pesperation on the babbies :leaf: I filled up party cups halfway then put the jiffy pots in those then packed dirt in around the sides and best i could and watered the dirt first then sparyed around the sides so the dirt is moist
