Oxygen stone in flood tray?

I understand it's not advisable to leave a oxygen Stone in your Reservoir as it will throw off the pH. But what about putting an oxygen Stone in your flood table that shares the same timer with your pump so that when the water is pumped up the oxygen Stone kicks on and supplies the nutrients with oxygen while they are flooding? Thoughts?

Don't think it would bother PH to the extent to be a issue . If it did id woulda had Issues.
Your looking for Dissolved oxygen where the roots will flourish.
