Hey y’all,

Have two Northern Lights just pluggin away in the yard. They are healthy and lush, but only just now slowly showing pre-flower.

The joys of being Canadian mean by mid October my grow is pretty much done. Y’all think the next 10 weeks will do it in your experience?

I'm going to be making more freezeland seeds and a serious 7 x freeze land crosses if thing go well I could throw you some seeds for free if you want.

Really appreciate it! Yeah, they are growing well and super vigorous, just taking a looong time to get going. They popped above ground mid May along with the others (Lambs Bread & Apricot Kush) which are in full flower, so it’s a real kick in the head I might run out of time

Don't panic, because you don't have to. If the cold comes, they will feel it and finish flowering much faster. As a rule, August announces the time for flowering.

I’m in Missouri, and my plant broke ground May 8. This is how it looks today, and I figure it has around 8 weeks to go which will put it around the end of September to the first of October. I don’t think you’ll get it completely mature in time.

Great looking plant! I’ll just care for them and see how we go. Thankfully my Kush plants are going bonkers ;)

A really fast near pure Indica can finish in as fast as 8 weeks and be done end of Sept. Most hybrids need about 10 and can be done mid Oct. The more Sativa she leans the longer she'll want and I've had land-race strains go into Jan.

What part of Canada? You’ll be fine. Just bring them in or cover them if/when the weather gets nasty later in flower.

They should finish fine. I'm in the Northeast and my plants don't start flowering until now normally.
I'm in the northeast too and a lot of the photoperiod plants I've grown outdoors I had to harvest a little early. What strains are you growing that are fully ripe by the end of the growing season here in the northeast? I'm growing freeze land and serious 7 for the first time and they both started to flower in the middle of July instead of late July or early August so I might be able to harvest some fully ripe outdoor bud this year!

That’s amazing that you were able to find a potential winner to beat the seasons! I’ve got a Lambs Bread Auto doing it’s thing and three Apricot Kush that are full blown flowering out there now. The NL I’m hopeful as they are super lush and growing well. Let’s see if Mother Nature can squeeze in a few weeks this year ;)
