Noooooooooooooo!

I understand how you'd come to that assumption, but what you don't see is that was the highest tier of my tent and a Mars Hydro 3000 is about two inches above that area. Those fan leaves are actually burned by the light. Where I saw and treated 90% of the powder was on the lower area of the plants. That's why I lollipopped them the way I did. But Thanks!

Ive tried saving a blue dream with rot I worked my ass off wet trimmed it all, soaked in peroxide n water and quickly dried it. The shit came back soon as it was in a jar, I tossed it jars and all, that shit spreads so id just get rid of it. I knew someone cut away all the bad areas made live bubble worked out fine.
I had some straight bud rot recently in a few flowers of Ghost Train Haze, I chopped the plants and trimmed and cut out the worst straight away and dried in trays over a week in an air flow box to 55%RH and bagged it. Looks good still after about 3 or 4 weeks and smokes good :)
Was bud rot though not PM. I don't think I've had that!

honestly you can take other's advice and wash them in a mixture of water and peroxide but i would not smoke anything that has mold or fungus in it.
sucks but its a learning experience.

That's a pretty big call, I just pulled 2lbs, 2 different strains, Corinto and Ghost Train Haze that both had a few buds with rot, should I throw it away for the sake of a couple of moldy buds? That's a lot of time and effort and if you dry it PROPERLY what little mold gets missed turns to dust and drops through the racks, you can barely find any if you try and you certainly can't taste it and it smokes super well! I'm not talking about huge amounts of mould because obviously when you see it you take action and chop any out during harvest. TBH you wouldn't even know it ever had any to smoke it :)
I think it also depends on how far it's spread, these were my offending buds

everyone is different

first bud rot is a fungus infestation that starts within the plants stems and works its way out, so if you had 1 bud with bud rot that means the entire inside of your plant is infested.... and you think its good idea too smoke this?

in 2023 i harvested a 7ft tall plant i found a little bit of mold in some of the buds... i threw the whole plant away :(, i also had a indoor grow in 2023 that 1 plant got budrot i threw everything away even the plants that had no rot. lmfao

if 1 bud mold's on me i throw everything away.

my health is more important than getting stoned.

i learned this lesson the hard way like vomiting after smoking a molded bud lmfao(happened to me in 2023), these days all i smoke is fire or nothing at all.

but i feel it throwing away 2lb's of flower can be hard for some people.

It is always a difficult thing to trash a grow- remember- this is farming and farmers lose crops for many reasons each season.
If in doubt- throw it out
If you were nearby- I would gladly share my crops with you to keep you safe- be well

I can see you guys have made your decision, and power to ya and thanks for the offer @Bud man 43
I recently saw a commercial, well respected legend weed grower in the forums find some mold, he corrected the environment and carried on, I believe this is the norm but each to their own :)
