hello thanks for reading ! I was wondering if anyone had a brand or preticuler light mover they enjoyed to use and set up I've never used them before but trying to save on energy a little bit would like larger rail because I'm trying to keep lights 1000 watt per 4x4 area don't want to cheap out just would like not to have hot spots and cut a light out here and there

I used s light rail about 20 years ago. I wouldn't use one unless I was trying to stretch the growing area covered by the light. A 4x4 area should be quite light saturated with a 1000 watters and wouldn't require a light mover.
So if you have a 1000 watters that covers a 5x5 area you might try 5x7 with a light mover.
They also excel in giving you the ability to lower your light closer to the canopy, without burning the tops.
So say run a 1000 watt double Ender at less than 10 foot ceilings.

I agree they always looked like a p in the a to me lol , well I use double ended lamps but this is not my place and I'm trying to keep cost down so I will probably just stick to standerd lamp and cool tubes thanks for your voice of reason lol

Get one from a grow shop not online and look into the newest models they are odd to set up and require extras to set up in a tent I use one in my 4x8 with a single 400 watt every one says it won't work but my plants don't bend into the light so it seems to work it else keep energy cost down and decrease heat build up because I only have to use 1 light where as the rest of the world uses 2
