to give some update.
my no.3 and no.4 turned out to be my favorites.

shitty times, so time to grow to free the head a bit.
i still have some small mothers in my 6500k veg box (old cree cxb3590, theyre a bit "spotty" in the low box but its halfway ok).
atm in this box at 17W wall draw.
2 old green gelato mothers, no.3. and no.4 (have to keep them small).
4 cuts of no.4, well rooted and healthy.
and 5 cuts of no.3 in the greenhouse.

so far so good, problems start for me in flower normallly.
i will try cocos husk this time, its very coarse cocos and to what i see its of better qualtiy then the fine stuff i can get in bricks.
quite easy to flush the ec down for the husk and so airy it doesnt need any perlite for sure.

Price on digikey just dropped for these. 100 390mm for $570.
Is this a good price really? I have to check my records but i believe its more or less what i paid per piece for a larger order of 2 feet blux gen3 with a local distributor.
Ive said this before: check your local distributor for blux gear cause you can probably get a better price than the global distribution

prcing on the slim seems to be unchanged.
4.12 with free shipping at 100pcs for 6800 leds, 6 cent each led.
sadly slims are not stocked by future electronics ,i do have a contact to a local office but digikey is tempting with their quick delivery.
maybe worth for larger qtys then 100 to ask locally.

Probably a price drop for Canada due to relative strength against USD. They've been $6.26per since the summer and just now dropped to 5.71 per.

getting full in there.
the space is well used in the meantime.
P1040797.JPG

their tops are seeing about 900ppfd now, 175W 300K, 15W 660nm (as my meters may show a lil low its a tad over 200w wall maybe).
temps arent great, 20C night , 24C day, but they do fine this time so far.

some deleafing wont hurt probably.

i use noctua in most of my pcs, these or bequiet.
theyre awesome.
whilie i have to say for my grows i use cheaper fans, i do have a cheap enermax running constant on for about 5y, flawless, noiseless.
for the setup above i used Artic P14 140mm fans, they run since about a year now, constantly (never switch them of, drawing almost no power anyway).
theyre optimized for static pressure, as i have the strips acting as a kind of radiator fin its a may a ok idea.
also i would like to push some (not really existent) heat from the strips down to the plants (am not nearby africa, its cold here atm).
while have to say, they where the cheapest 140mm at that time , i would had bought any enermax or artic which whoever was the cheapest.
nice 5 packs.

the options for the airstream are a bit limited in this tent, it only have one inlet by default in the bottom part.
on the sides i can not do much, its full of plants.
there is mainly only space for more fans under the canopy left, which i plan to add more.
i mostly use 5v usb clip fans for this purpose.
the extracting fan is quite powerfull so far i could steer the humidity quite ok.
still, too many leafes on a too small space, defoil is unavoidable for a propper airflow and maybe the best thing to do now.

...my pov... on fans way and diisipators or heatshinks i prefer Noctua way....not only for pcs...

...in air flow in floor down to canopy... i prefer some similar to this but ...

I like this idea a lot.

I have 2 of the older AC infinity 12V 4A fan controllers that they sent me by mistake. each controller will drive two 2A pwm fans. They don't make the fans to go with them anymore, so I was just looking at some pc fans on ebay and had a similar idea in mind to have an active intake. I was just to use regular ducting but I like the idea of using pvc and being able to direct the air where u want it and adjust based on season and temps. really cool idea thank you

distributing the air by hoses is basically a nice idea and make complete sense to me in bigger setups.
this 3x3 is just a 86x86cm inside, pretty much any installation would take a lot space.
havent mentioned not good at sewing, prob better i spend my time on other projects and replace the tent with a better one if in need.
i use the first time fabric pots, they do of course evaporate a lot water which is a big factor ill have to watch.
buts its freezing cold outside and i just need to open the window to get the RH down.
my VPD is quite perfect,CO2 is good, air moving everywhere a bit, plants are performing, so no real need to act atm, other that the temps are too low.
airflow concept is simply exhange enough with the room and keep air moving everywhere in the tent atm.
if there is enough of it i will see later after harvest, budrot or no budrot, thats the question atm, haha.

@ilovereggae if you guide your airflow please show what you did.
btw if youre buying pc fans and attach them to hoses better checkout presure optimized ones, seldon, the one linked above is quite good.
there is aslight more expensive 4pin PWM version too, if you need that.
pc fans arent made for restricted airflow, theyre made to perform good in free air, they all move air, but if the blades are optimized for pressure they do way better with ducting.

those ones you linked look awesome but they are not high enough current to match up with the controller I have. I need something that will specifically run at 2A. The reason I want to use them, is bc they are actually like the new AC Infinity controllers in that you can program different speeds at different set temps. These are the original model T4 controller before they switched to 24V and added the humidity functions (but took away set points).

i found these for $16 on Digikey and they claim they move 76CFM. I figured the smaller 60MM size would be easier to build a little box and force the air through ducting or some pvc. not sure if they are pressure optimized.

i also thought about a centrifugal blower fan instead and have found some but they are in the $30 price range and used. i may got this route but trying to find something less expensive and hopefully new.

i have no AC infinity, but am quite sure the stated 2A is simply the max current, so youre free to choose as long its not more then 2A and 12V.
pretty much like a fan connector on a pc mainboard who are also often rated for 2A.
there will be a wide range of fans working for you, just wanted to mention the presure optimization cuase its a factor for us often.
to me it sounds like your controller takes any regular 12v 4 pin pwm pc fan..

the sanyo denki is more a jet engine then a pc :D fan, 69dB is really really loud.
these 60mm ones are common in server racks, as the racks are so low they need low heigh fans still pushing lots of air, while noise is no concern at all.
theyre working very inefficient due to the needed high rpm at 2A and 69dB the sanyo moves 76cfm, the artic P14 move 73cfm at 0.15A and a inaudible 22.5 dB.
i have one hp server using 60mm fans, its horrible, needs a extra room for the noise, wont use it in a enviroment where humans are.
maybe salomentin have a good idea for a good fan size as he wrapped his head around it allready, i prefer often the common 120 and 140mm ones if the space allows.

a week later, things are going well.
bit low temp maybe, but they take it well.
no complains from my side.
P1040815.JPG
P1040817.JPG
smell is allready awesome and they frosting up quite early, could be lower temp related.
thinking of introducing them to a bit of EOD 730nm from today.
