Just harvested some peyote critical, everything went well, 1000 watt hps, ffof soil, indoor though.
So, is it any good? Did you get a good yield?

Folks, I am not from your area, and don't mean to crash your thread, but I am really curious to see how much yields you got, veg time etc.. have you got a smoke report?

This is my Peyote Critical...

Nice! Looks great.

I use the brown paper bag method now. Once space became an issue I needed to find a different way. Haha
The boxes you see in back of what is hanging are my dry boxes, they have coat hangers popped through The sides. I will take a photo. I put them in there after a couple of days, to slow the dry.

Just we’re just chopped the other day. They need 5-7 days dry time, before I can de- stem the and jar them. And too wet to sample. I’ll keep you updated. Thanks for asking.

My outdoor UK Cheese Auto, all tucked in, starting to spit some flowers.

In soil, 15 gallon square plastic pot.

The LST worked wonders on this plant. Its my first auto, and I was very happy to see that the training worked as promised. Now I have 9 almost level bud sights. Cant wait to see what these flowers turn into.

Looking real healthy. :weed:
So far so good! I have a tent going up today with a new HLG QB R-Spec arriving tomorrow...and the 2 mephisto double grapes that are planned for in there are still germinating in my special "coco-K-cup" (dont laugh! It has a 100% success rate...2.5 - 3 days total, from seed to true leaves an inch above soil!)

I'm thinking, the double grapes that will spend their lives in the tent cant use it for a while. They will be under t5s for a few weeks or whatever. Maybe I should drop that baby in the tent and finish her under the LEDs.

Hmmm...

Could be very interesting...

Got 5 out of the 6 plants in the ground this past week.

Most holes had about 3 bags of soil to 2 bag of compost. Put some salt marsh hay over the bases to help retain moisture and keep a good living soil.

Dug 1 hole today and screened all the soil as it looked like nice healthy dark dark brown. And cut it 50/50 with screened comost/ earthworm castings. Then I mixed that in at 2/3 to 1/3 coast of maine stonington blend. About 6 bags. My big mother will go in there and hopefully spread her roots.

The coast of Maine stuff is really good. A 2cu ft bag of their organic potting soil is only $10 at my local farm store. Needs some nutrients for later in the season but much cheaper compared to fox farms or any other stuff.

Why did they start flowering on you?
Gosh I have no idea...did the same thing I did the year before but this year they had a mind of their own. Put them out in the Great Outdoors and they quit flowering and started growing...still a tad cold up here with night time temp in the low 40's

Agreed, Coast of Maine has good products, Stonington Blend makes plants smile.

Coast of Maine also makes a product for Master Nursery, Bumper Crop growers mix, which has a similar profile as Stonington Blend, but is a little bit cheaper and is sometimes easier to find. Works great too.

Wow that fruity pebbles looks tasty! What lighting does everyone here use? I'm currently using his 1000 w, but would like to go led, and get a couple quantum boards specifically the hlg 550 v2s, anyone have them that have any feedback on em?
This is an auto tent Im gonna be running all year as an insurance policy to my summer photo fem outdoor girls. (Hard lessons learned. Especially last year!!)

It's a 24×48×70. I'm going to be finishing 2-3 autos at a time in here.

Anyway, the light is the HLG 260 V2 QB R-Spec DIY. I researched the hell out of LEDs before I pulled the trigger. This was the one I landed on. So the 550, depending on your tent size, would be a stellar choice.

No one that I saw that has the 550 is unhappy. It's a serious light. After the research I did (since this is my first indoor and LED, it was a LOT of research) HLGs QBs seem to be one of the current best choices for simple, clean, and very effective LEDs.

The only thing I would say about getting the 550, is that HLG is about to release their new light. The Trinity. And it is supposedly awesome. So maybe wait until that is out and then decide. Just so you arent buying the 550 and then seeing the new hotness 2 days later. Haha

I appreciate the feedback. I was unaware hlg was dropping a new light thanks for the heads up because I was on the fence about buying 4 of the 550's but I will be patient and see what they drop maybe itll be better! Here's my current indoor in stretch rn, the strain is mama mia from hso seeds. I also have a large outdoor operation and a couple autos in 5 gallons for learning purposes!

Nice. Looking good. That's a sweet trellis setup.

FYI, the Trinity is a 520w, and has reds incorporated. Right now, there is actually a grow off competition between the HLG Trinity and some HGL LEDs. The trinity isnt coming out until July, but HLG sent a prototype out for this test. They have pictures, and pages of conversation on the light. Thought it might he helpful.

This is the page with the first released pictures, although the conversation about the light itself starts further back on page 2 or 3.
https://www.rollitup.org/t/hlg-vs-hgl-side-by-side-take-2.989196/page-4

There isnt really any other info out that I've seen about it, so if you wanted to do research this is probably your best bet.

(If anyone wants to read some serious drama and shit talking, find the original post of the same name without the "take 2". Its basically 24 pages of the owner of HGL vs the owner of HLG and the entire RIU LED community fighting. Its posted in the LED section for anyone interested in that sort of thing. Pretty funny stuff in there.)
