Martin here from Police State America!

Hello to all. I recently joined this forum because I'm very concerned about marijuana legalization occurring the Western states. I'll be creating several threads related to my interests in this regard.

I believe that it's a good thing to legalize, and I've been to Colorado several times already and had a blast every time!

Anyway, since CO legalized, the Tenn., Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia cops have been on the warpath. I think in the South, cops are taking legalization personally, and I've noticed in the local papers that there's more arrest reports for small amounts of weed (about three dozen a day in a town of 50,000 and just about all of them were traffic stops).

I think the U.S. is ridiculous with silly and stupid laws that make no sense. How is it that I can go to CO or Oregon or Washington and legally buy and smoke weed (or eat it), but in Tenn., I could lose my whole livelihood if ever caught with just a small amount. That's freaking bullshit.

America is a police state (or at least in the South it is!).

Even though we all are in the same country our culture changes a bit from state to state. Just give it time, it will become more accepted.

Remember the first time Oregon tried to legalize the green sticky icky? It didnt pass, but now oregon has the best weed laws IMO in the land.

Give it a couple more years, you will see.
