lets see how bad i screw up an outdoor grow

so i wasn't going to do this , they are going to be more visible to the world then id like .....

what the heck , lets do it . first two to pop out are bubbagum bag seeds , i assume they are photos . being bag seeds and a few years old i wasn't sure they would pop , i have three seeds left ill start those and hope to get two fems .

guess i might as well go whole hog so i also planted two fruit by the foot seeds that haven't popped yet , they are auto's .

i live in north east Ohio and have no clue if they are good for my region , guess ill find out .

and i haven't a clue what i am doing so if you have advice or comments feel free to post in my journal , or if you have something suitable for my region you'd like to see grown outdoors in the ground by a rookie i have room for a couple more ....
i also take donations of soil amendments and other important stuff i may need ... i have nothing yet . I'm just making this up as i go along and didn't plan ahead far enough for a grow budget .

anyhow , here they are at day two . one still has a helmet but it looks like it'll take care of itself without my intervention

Just for starters, they need more light, they’re very stretchy, but that can be overcome! When you repot, plant the stem deep, almost to the cotyledons. Are you growing in bags or in the ground? Are you using native soil or potting soil?

I had them close to a window and they popped up faster then I expected. I've since moved them outside to spot where they should get good light without spending all day in direct sunlight .

They will go straight from the cups to native soil .

I have no idea of what kind of native soil you have, sometimes it’s great, other times, not so much, but I’d at least get a bag or two of compost/potting soil and mix it in.

Know ur laws cause I know many people in my state that got only caught cause they didn’t enclose and do it correctly and township -Karen’s made their grows into a bad thing and also got them into trouble.

”(b) Cultivation or growing of adult use cannabis only takes place within a secured closet, room, greenhouse, or other enclosed area in or on the grounds of the residence that prevents access by individuals less than twenty-one years of age, and which is not visible by normal unaided vision from a public space.”

meaning even if u have ur plants in ur back yard, if it’s not a locked fenced in And highly suggested to have it privacy fenced if not greenhouse with privacy cloth . read the rules for Ohio ( ur state ) cause it def says u can’t have access to anyone and make it so only urself snd over 21 can. I know a buddy who all he had wrong was no lock on his fenced in area and they busted him, removed his plants and also fined and tried to say he wasn’t medical cause of that.

not Trying to be a downer but I would be very cautious about this and def know the cops def can walk in Inless u make it super hard and will make any excuse in book to bust ya.

I'm with you on all that , I have very little concern with law enforcement . I live in a rural area our sheriff is not against weed .

It's everyone else that concerns me , when the plants get to be mature they will be slightly visible to people driving down the road for about half a second .
I don't think the average person will ever notice them , but those who are inclined to theft type of activity could .

I have some ideas on camouflage or distractions that might help , it's just a less then what I consider the ideal situation.

it quit raining Monday morning so i planted my seedlings , the bubbagum photo's looks good to me . the fruit by the foot autos however have stretched again . I'm guessing due to it being mostly cloudy without any real direct sunlight . pics got out of order the stretchy ones are the second and last pic , maybe mound up some more soil around them ?

Let's start with the first mistake , I got seduced by some early weather .....

So nothing to report except I lost one of my fruit by the foot auto's .
Leaves gone ....
It's been cold and rainy so there is not much growth happening .
