Wasup peeps,

I'm growing again and although my cabinet is dirty, i have two sprouts. One is faster than the other. I am running them at 18/6 and their is enough air flow to give them a slight wobble.

I lowered the light a little more this week.

(Background)
I had to move my cabinet off site, so the caregiver now controls the watering, i do the nutrients and lights. We split everything 50/50

Besides me and the caregiver, no one knows we grow, its for personal use only.

hehe it started out to be a bubblisious grow but none of the seeds lived past seedling. So i restarted with these NL#5

Well theres been a lot of growth, One looks like a northern lights and one almost looks like a bubblisious. do yall think it's the same strain or two different strains? It almost looks like two different ones to me but im still new to growing as this is my third crop.

Anyways enjoy!

hard to tell still.. once they get a bit more developed you will know if they are different or not for sure

They do look similar to my NLs though. Looking nice!

Im hoping for female then northern lights hehe right now i just want healthy girls. I'm excited to see the growth over a weeks time. The fan in the cabinet keeps them moving just slightly which helps with strengthening the stems. I went through 5 bubblsious seeds before using the NL's. Pissed me off none of them survived past seedling.

I got the seeds confused cause i tried so many times. if anyone has any questions about my cabinet or anything related to my grow, feel free to ask.

More updates soon!

till then let's smoke one!

I used long twist ties and looped one end through the net cup then the other up over the 3rd node and bent her ass over (gently of course) then just adjusted as needed. Good thing about the net cups is its easier to do multiple tie locations. Watch how long you veg for depending on your space though. I didn't think they'd explode the way they did with only ~25 days of veg. Hydro definitely has me impressed with growth rates. I'll see about yield in 8 weeks =)

I am always worried about height issues, The cabinet isn't that tall to begin with. SO i just carefully bend it over and tie it down to the opposite side of the net cup? then weekly i would check and tie up new sections of growth around the net cup. Do i basically make a circle or spiral?

Anyone have a thread with pics on LST?

Only shots I had available from when they were about that age. You can tie them in any direction or pattern you want. Main thing is make sure you get enough of a bend without doing any harm. At that age they are pretty flexible though and usually isn't a problem. Just make sure you move the tie periodically and ensure it isn't causing any damage.

I tied mine at just a straight 90 degree sideways and adjusted the tie upwards as they grew out.

Sweet info! plus REP

I found a thread with illustrations of what your talking about. This looks like something i really need to do. It's the next logical step in my learning. I will make sure to post pictures when i do LST them.

Nice looking plants JP, I got some NL#5 from HighGradeSeeds @ about 48 days in flower myself. I'll be growing this strain out a few times before I move on to something else.

I'll be sticking around to check your ladies out.

Peace.

I wasnt able to work with the plants this week. It's hell growing stealth sometimes.. I am planning to go 12/12 really soon, so i can sex them. I cant remember if i bought auto's or not so i will have to switch the lighting schedule and see.

I learned the art of keif. Ive been collecting the keif in my grinder, and by adding a coin to the weed chamber, it forces more trichs through the screen. Its enough to top a bowl of weed. I take a deep hit and bam all the goodness in one hit.

I am dying to look at my plants, but with the help of keif hash, i am managing hehe.. updates to follow every friday
