I don't see the 3-leaf dominance here....perhaps I should look more closely at this one.
They do look pretty similar at the leaf....hmmm. I do believe SFV is a pretty commonly passed around OG, I've seen it at Harborside a million times.

Does it get that gas early in flower, or does it come out late? Would you say the nose in early flower is consistent with hashy, spicy (like nutmeg or clove or something...not like chili spicy), piney with a bit of mint/lime, but weak in lemon and fuel at least early in flower? Grow conditions affect the nose heavily, so grain of salt here, but just for kicks?

I beg your pardon? American motherfucker from ground zero, born with og in my cradle. Industry/gov van straight fuck off and the free trade for the past millennia can proceed without objection. I grew up next to the plant. I definitely know.
it’s about all that stuff you talk about for you, which i don’t really care because for me it’s about finding what i like. A true description provides that. i grow for myself so that’s all i care about, my preferences. any breeder can pick a specific pheno they like and run with it. as long as the strain is true to its description i say honest breeder. They don’t call it blueberry og. They call it blue kush they list the effects and it delivers. i see no problem.

This should definitely help...it is at least an og cross and og dominant pheno. The super thin succulent viney elongated spectacular floppy branches and tri leaf dominant are a very good veg indicator that this may be very dominant OG if not an OG you really want to have...

As is it looks like this guys post may possibly be TK/Legend/SFV. My OGK professional opinion, but you never know till you flower.
Yes, this is actually helpful, because mine doesn't have the 3-leaf dominance. I've seen it in the legend OG and it's pretty distinct.

So...

40AmpstoFreedom implied SFVOG has tri-leaf dominance.

amongofrog shows photos of his SFVOG that does not have tri-leaf dominance.

Anyone else have experience with SFVOG?

Thanks.

Dark heart's sfv is not the clone only. It is a pheno found in cali con sfv x afghani. I had it and tossed it because I prefer my pheno of lvtk. Because even though my lvtk looks nothing like an og, it sure to hell smells and taste like an og.

Dont have pics of the sfv anymore but I did post pics of it in clone only thread. But I do have fire og going, which I didnt name.

Both viney plants, but the lvtk is worth it, we'll see about the fire.

Yeah, your LVTK doesn't have the tri-leaf, similar to mine...although your leaf serrations look more aggressive than mine did. What's the nose like in early flower?

I'm starting to wonder if the cut I had was related to a Pure Kush/Topanga Kush cut...I've heard it has that creamy kushy spicy limey nose on her. I grew some Bodhi Hollyweed (Hollywood Pure Kush x 88G13HP) and it did kinda remind me of it, although my "OG" cut was spicier with minty/limey notes and the Hollyweed was more creamy/rubber/floral/spice...less pungent than my OG, but it had that "hashy" spicy creaminess. Anyone grown the Topanga Kush/Hollywood Pure Kush? Wonder if it has the tri-leaf dominance?

She actually does have the 3 finger leaves in early veg and I have pics but cant find them atm.

Her nose is straight eye watering gas, no lemons just fuel. The taste out of the vape is closer to chem or stardawg buds I've smoked.

This is the most delightful, captivating, stop-in-your-tracks, amazing smelling OG I have ever laid my nose upon. I lost her to broad mites, stupidly threw her away because I didn't want to fight anymore. I really regret it and now I need to know what cut it was, so I can spend my life savings getting her back.

When I first got her as a clone, she was red stemmed and yellow leafed, like a good calmag hungry OG should be. I flowered her in ocean forest with rainbow mix pro top dressing and compost teas under a mix of HPS and LEDs, with controlled temps. She grows long with slow side branching, so I trained her main stalk into a spiral so the side branches can catch up..worked quite well actually.

She gave me this amazing bouquet of creamy, hashy, spicy, slightly minty and piney, but not very fuel or skunk heavy...maybe that's my fault...not enough sulfur? I didn't even get a chance to smoke her, but I can't get the smell out of my head, even after 3 years of trying.

Bought this OG Kush clone from rinky-dink club in Sacramento (pre-Prop64). The filipino? woman behind the counter said it is "OG Kush". When I asked her which cut, she responded...OOOO..GGGGG...Kuuuushhh, lol. OK, so is this just the real deal "original" OG Kush or some known cut of it? I realllly need to knowww...

Pics attached..."OGKush-0.jpeg" is shortly after transplanting the clone. Remaining pics look a little better after they recovered in the Ocean Forest and as I was training her into a spiral. Sorry for the background plants obscuring the best view, but I think you can get a good sense for her morphology.

Any tips to the exact cut would be eternally appreciated..
You must be thanking god that echo still makes the same replacement parts for the old weed whackers. You know I'm right......
