Yes because its asexual

Although u may or may not have hermie genes cross over and the resulting seeds for instance may produce 1 herm every 10
At which point u rip ther herm(s) up

High Bio,

kind lost track on its time, but 4 sure they survived for over 5 months. I chopped then down a week ago.
And there are more seeds on its buds, lol. My first ever grow I got seeds instead buds, from an auto that I didn't know was an auto, lol, now I have to wait 4 the photos, oh boy.
By definition a herm has both sex in one , right? Lets say 1 out of 10 will be a herm, how about the others 9? Reg seeds or fem seeds? Frankly I'm not waiting that much from those seeds, due the high stress the plants underwent since seed. Well after all wasn't that bad, couple lessons won't hurt no one. By the way what kind of reading should I take from now and on if I'm really into learning about growing, would u point me a book ? I got one from someone called Ryan Rilley but u know some parts are ok some are fishy, its ok first time , but I'm sure there are way better readings to do. Could you?

thanks a lot

peace.

i wanted to piggyback a question on this thread instead of start another one with basically the same title and question.

I have five autos that are all about 2 months old and each one at very different stages of growth and flower. I read one thread where a guy said dont chop util the fan leaves start to die......well after reading this thread i just dont think thats going to happen at all!

so i have a jack herrer that i trimmed a couple buds off to smple about a week ago......they smoked qite good nd very much in line with the kind of high i had with another jack herrer strain in colorado which made me a big fan....so at least im confident of what ill be getting when i finally havest.....but......when should i actually harvest???

seems like when to harvest autos can depend on alot of factors, especially if theyve been stressed......which mine have as well.

on the other hand....my blueberry auto is barely flowering at all and just keeps geting branchier and bigger every week......

the skunk auto looks like it will be ready in a coulle more weeks based on trich production ....

the diesel and quick one are both super tiny compared to the others but are still growing and putting on flowers.....

The other 9 will be female. You just have to sex them and make sure they are female.
As for books... idk i learned everything off the webb

To answer you all autos will finish at different times especially deiffereny strains all together.

the left on the left side is the one which had seeds ,around 45 seeds probably there are more in the buds , and they look good ....... some are kind of greenish maybe too young, should have waited a little more. If they came out like viable seeds, I 'd say that my disastrous experience growth w auto gave me around $450.00 worth in seeds. Not bad, lol.

Thank u guys 4 all tips, next step now , flip the photos 12/12.

Haha, a bit cryptic. Why you think you should have waited? Bigger yield? Riper buds?[/QUOTE

They were autos, I couldn't have a proper set up on time and after a long time in a horrible environment I finally put then under hids, but it was too late already, then I got seeds and the 2 plants got atrophy, lol.
I learned a thing or two.

The first try was kind of a disaster, even though I've learned with every wrong turn I've made till now.
These are my 3 autos with 97 days from seed, 60days under 18/6 and the last 37 days under 12/12 along w photos, 1200w hps, organic. So that may have affected the yield a bit , I had no option, well so here is the question, how close to harvest am I now?

Any input.
My guess is 10 more days.

Every auto ive grown has had white/ish pistils all the way thru harvest window! Trich color is the go! Plenty of amber and your set to chop. Just off the times youve stated, this thing should be ready. If you let an auto go past ripe point, the buds get airy and foxtaily....
Just sayin....

Ew foxtails yuck, more buds gross :P

just messing around.

the callaxes fully swollen and the Pistils are retracted in is when i chop.

For future reference trichs dont always go amber

Hmmm. I'd be inclined to leave them a bit, still a lot of white fresh looking pistils. How are the trich's looking?
I don't have a magnifier to really take a closer look but I can't see amber yet with bare eyes. I think they can wait a lit bit still , like 1 week 10 days. I can see the buds r still growing getting heavier, oh boy. Wait a bit won't hurt.
