Indoor vs outdoor flower time

If the Flower Time for indoor 70 days.

Would that same time period of 70 days still be applied outdoors near the equator?

Because Hawaii is unnatural for its species.

I doubt it, in my opinion outdoor flower times are generally longer since the plants are much bigger due to lack of pot restriction and envionmental factors, which strain you are referring too, should be plenty of info regarding this on the web,

You will find indicas go like autos if you that close to the equator to veg em longer u might need to do it indoors or supplement lighting out if u that close to the equator

Yeah no we forsure veg them: artificial photo schedule increase.

Otherwise it’s only a 1/4 dry.

But was wondering if the schedule is already Autoflower for Indicas.

Questions:

1.
Will Autoflowers veg harder and/or yield more than Indicas in the same outdoor environment?

* There’s new strains to consider so I’m sure it will become the best.

2. Will Hawaiian Sativa/ Pure Haze yield more than Indica?

*No supplemental light increase same Hawaiian environment.

I've grown numerous strains under both conditions . It's really a crapshoot the first time outdoors IMO . Where I am I'd guess a "70" day strain would finish mid to late October .

The latest I saw was a pheno of SSH that I'd take to 85 or so days indoors . We luckily had great weather that Fall and it went to late November outdoors . Still could have gone a couple more weeks but it smoked well .

Some strains look like they're going to take forever and then just blow up in the last few weeks .

Yeah they should veg regardless of time so without supplemental light they will still veg then auto and yes true Hawaiian before the helicopters and busts were bloody huge plants cos south east asian genes most likely i bet u could get a 20 footer lol and also haze with space will yield but id say nevils haze or a nice cross of it be better generally the bigger the plant the better the yield

Nor Cal plants outdoor raised monsters are better than the SoCal SOG?

I was assuming it had mostly to do with the root size when determining maturity.

That’s why I use organic Sulfur based granules.

Better for roots than chemicals because the environment gets fed and roots get mature faster.

Im experimenting rapid feeding directly into the organic environments before it reaches the plant.

Basically the burns never last the leaves just grow huge!

Ancient Organic Sulfur technique, rapid feeds the root environment. So I’m interested in this fast growing technique.

I’m hypothesizing:

The modern breeding results in photo-based.

So a landrace or ancient breeds are bred differently?

That’s why they actually have a non photo veg period like a natural plant.?

What no, they were photos, unnaturally bred with ruderalis, which has the auto flower trait but no THC production traits. They are then bred over and over to kind of breed the ruderalis unwanted traits out and hone in on the desired photo traits. That's how auto flower plants were made. Sort of, just real quick glance over lol.

Not what I was talking about..

Modern strains don’t really have veg cycles that’s only landrace??

The only thing you can get outta new strains is a ounce dry. From seed.

If you want a big tall strain in Hawaii it can’t be bred by breeders.

Then again hermaphroditism with landrace is bad for the environment.

But the strains bred by breeders can’t reproduce in the wild because there’re too photo dependent and have no veg period and no hermaphroditism.

Yeah so it would be cool to have a non photo dependent strain that has a longer veg period.

Especially non hermaphroditism.

GEO (if done under legal requirements).

*Would theoretically be the safest for the environment.

Because you can engineer the safest characteristics in the plant.

Non-hermaphroditism.
No chance of reproducing.
Distinct growth periods based on months.
Growth Size.
Type of effect.

Meta-Strains based on gathered information.

IDK ‍♂ might be the near future.
