I need help with figuring out the logical way to start my plants

OK so straight up, I fucked up I know.here's the deal. I have one plant in flower she got about another week or two before she's completely done I believe. Then a buddy came by and gave me 3 clones. Then my seeds arrived in the mail and I started to germinate them. So know I have 3 clones and 3 seedlings, obviously the clones are bigger, I really am just thinking pull out the one in flower early and just deal with it whatever and get my clones and seedlings under that Light? Or finish out the one then throw the other 6 in There? Or is there a better way I should do This? I have one 600W mh/hps I got the one in there in dirt the other are in dwc. Right now the 6 are just hangin out in my room no special light or anything. I have a hard time deciding and I thought I'd seek some help from some folks been doing this a while. This is definitely a mistake I won't make again

Let the one in flower finish properly. The other 6 can wait, just get some energy saving lightbulbs, the household ones and keep a couple of em on 18-24 hours over your 6 plants. Or some kitchen strip lights. Either are cheap. Or put them in natural light and change them to your flower tent when lights are on (assuming you run your lights on at night) then swap em out when lights go off.

Do not sacrifice a flowering plant for 6 plants that can survive on a tiny bit of light until the other has been cropped.

I have kept clones alive but almost dormant under as little as 20w for many weeks when I have had to and it wont hurt them, they just wont grow much until you are ready for them.

That's good advice right there ^^

The one that's under there was started under cfls. I was just keeping my room light on longer. I should put my set up closers I take it. You know, sometimes the pieces are all laid out in front of you but you get so burned out trying to figure out what to do you need to have some fresh eyes come in and give a look. More veg I take it is nothing to fear. I'm tying them down so height isn't really an issue

I know, dumb question, lights on at night? Is there Reasoning behind this?

Most run them at night it makes it a little easier to control heat than having them on in the middle of the day. I also like to be home while the lights are running, makes me feel better

Your other question I'd let the one in flower finish. The clones from your buddy are identical obviously, you could toss 2 and not lose the genetics. The seeds could be diamonds you won't know unless you grow them out.

As Kryptobud says, Coolest at night so lights on then means easier to control temps and less temp difference from night to day. I live in a country where folks don't have ac controlling their house temps though.

I see, that does seem to make sense. I don't have central air though. I got one of them shifty little window units. But the last two days been nice. Finally getting over this winter crap.

if you switch times do that by extended the plant's nightphase otherwise it may get more than 12h lights and revegg.

also, you can occasionally put the clones under the 600hps when its on so they can generate some sugar.
I thought I heard not to veg under hps because of streching.

Yes red light can do that. However, plants that get insufficient lumen will also do that stretch plus develop leafs with less fingers. It may not be necessary (if you have a nice spot and climate) your clones may just do fine until the tent is free. But placing them into the growtent in the night and under the sun during the day will mean 24h light you've got a 100% guarantee that they won't initiate flowering. But this is really dependant on your location/strain, for example where I live the april suntimes are not enough for veg.
I've done that before under 400W HPS + clones (I live in a valley and am surrounded by mountains so the sun doesn't help me much...) and it did work out fine.

Thank you for the advice, I switched times today. They're in a closet not a tent, but I don't think that makes a difference. I would love to do an outside grow, where I'm at its time to plant. But I'm in the city with nosey neighbors

I made some little chambers for starting cuttings and for keeping small mother plants going. Don't need big mother plants unless you need about 100 cuttings at a time. Two or 3 small ones in 3-4" pots and pruned to branch does it.

The chambers are two plastic bins, one upside down on the other. I used a recycling bin for the bottom of one. So anyway I cut a round hole in the top one and mounted a light socket in it so there's some air space around the socket to let heat escape. I put a little aluminum baking pan over the hole to keep light from coming out but let the heat escape, just loosely taped over the hole so air can get out. To start cuttings I use a 60w replacement LED bulb and for rooted plants I use a 100w.

Little grow chambers like that really come in handy. You can stick em anywhere, on top of something or wherever. I also lined the top ones with foil as a reflector. For cuttings I put a sheet of clear plastic bag material over the bottom container and then put the top container over that.

I'd like to see that, sounds great. I was thinking bout making a little greenhouse type deal, I just seen instructions on how to build one out of pvc and shower curtains

It's not much to see really. And looks like hell kind of because I added shit on it, like a flap of mylar hanging down on the front to block light coming out the cracks and stuff. It's functional but looks makeshift so I'm not eager to show it off. Had to also line the bottom part with foil to keep light from coming through the plastic. It's in an area where I sleep and the light was bugging me.

LOL I feel ya. I think I can imagine it though. I like building things and I have an artistic mind so I try to make a mixture of that. And hey if it works, good. I may use that info too do something in that nature

I'm using an old birdcage which has been neatly cleaned and surrounded by black/while foil. Could have been alu + PE foil as well instead. Placed one (or more) CFLs right inside it giving light off 24h each day. I'm controlling the temperature with the number of lamps, just trying to be somewhere between 20-30°C. Laced its ground with wet Seramis which will keep air humidity high. Vent in fresh air each day.
