How should PH calibration soultion be stored.

I have it in lightly closed mason jar, in a dark room. Would refrigerator be better????Dark, cool environment. it can last a decent amount of time if stored properly, if stored in the light, not long at all.. You will know its bad when you can see cloudy growth floating in it..its actually rather nasty..
