Yikes... I'm not a light snob and even I'd recommend returning that one if you can, or selling it, or using it as a step, or to hold down papers in a breeze..

Should I hang two side by side to give it a little more boost, they were gifted to me
I don't think they like you... You can try it. But I think your going to have nothing but disappointing results. I'd run CFLs or T5s before that junk and I'd never recommend anybody flower under either. But at least you could veg under the home depot options and not have issues. Between the spectrum and there only being one super short distance from them where the brightness will be workable I think your in for more headaches than saving $200 is worth.. anything under the top layer will be fluff, anything right under them will get burnt, the leaves will be gross throughout, you'd yield twice the flower of twice the quality if you just forgot you were ever 'gifted' these and just figured something else out for your light IMO.

I flowerd under them once already, I vegged for 3 months and got a plant 11 inches tall and wide enough to fill a bucket

Do you think a king plus 1000/2000 watt would be worth the cash
No clue dude I'm inexperienced just like you but I would assume that the more Watts you have the better... to an extent. Depends on watt type of light it is, the heat it's giving off, and several other factors like pressure heat deficit... which I'm really not equipped to explain lmao... I use x2 200w grow lights LED from amazing, a 100w ceiling light, and a 60w softlight LED lamp bulb... in other words, the bare minimum. I'm growing in a bathtub ontop of all of this, plus the occasional fungus gnat ontop of all of this. I'm 52 days in since this sucker sprouted and I already have a bit more flower than I saw in that picture... so... clearly I either have a fantastic strain or you just arent doing something right

No i watched a friend fail miserably with that light. There are new LED's on amazon that have samsung chips that are around 300 that look real good. All the cheap lights are a waste other than for seedlings.
