It seems to me, I read somewhere on this forum that you cannot put an HID and fluorescent fixture on the same circuit because it will damage one of the ballasts. Since I'm currently designing the electronic controls for my flowering room, I wanted to see if this is really true or just an urban legend. I can't seem to find any reputable reference online, so I'm hoping that someone can give me some insight. I ran four T5's alongside my 600W HPS in my last grow without a single problem, but the HPS was on a different circuit. All of my fixtures have digital ballasts, and the multi-fixture warning may only apply to magnetic ballasts or a combination of digital and magnetic. Any information would be appreciated.
