Hey guys! Is this normal? (pic)

Hey! This is my first grow, and since I've never seen any bud growing before, I'd like to know if this growth, where the bud is supposed to come out, is normal.
Any help is highly appreciated!

Yeah basically, it will be all around there. How long have you had your lights on 12/12?

These are outdoors! When I changed them to a more discrete spot they started to show pistils, which began about 2 and half weeks ago. I think it's growing a bit too slow, tbh.

first pic has a male pod form bottom right of the bud 2nd pic is diff from the first that looks like a girl can u get a pic of the whole plant say 3 node down so i can tell if she has hermied on ya cant really say with a close up of the head

I hope this one works. I don't have my camera right now and my cellphone takes really bad pics, but later I'll post another one. What seems weird to me, is that they all have pistils on the lower buds, but not on the main one.
