Hempy style grow? If I start now can I be away from my plants for days later?

I’m excited to start my first grow. I wanted to start at the beginning of the month.

But in about 2 months I’m gonna be Away from my plants for 3 to 5 days possibly.

Is that too long? Is there a auto watering technique that I can use?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Never grown but you’re starting with hempy? And knowing you’ll be gone for periods? Sounds like a recipe for unhappiness. KISS

If you read with some care, he’s not trashing you. He is telling you that as a beginner contemplating a grow method that benefits from close attention, your chance of failure and frustration is high.

Adding a desire to automate during extended absences spikes your chance of failure.

I didn’t hazard hydro until I had a soil grow under my belt. My first hydro grow worked. My second crashed and burned. I’d been lucky. I’ve clawed my way up to being an ok but not good grower.

hempy is least hands on of any hydro (of styles i have tried) . i did autofeed hempys for a few years. when plants are small, they only need watering every few days since a hempy has a built in reservoir.

if you have a veggie garden, try a tomato in a hempy.

You have experience and can read a plant. There’s no substitute for that, barring luck.

true but i first tried out the hempy style because i wanted the hands off aspect. once i got my feed res dialed in, i've been out of town for 14 days without issues. which is really nice. i can do that now with GH waterfarms too.
