Help Yellowing Continued

Bonjour Friends,

I want to start as usual by saying thank you kindly for your response and willingness to help ! :clap:

I'm slightly confused by why I'm still seeing my new growth yellowing... I've transplanted it to help the roots absorbe nutrients. I've maintained a good temp ( 27c / 60+% humidity ) Soils good, working well for all the other seedlings ( same strain & DOB too ). Watering is on point (6.7pH + seaweed extract - room temp).

I've read hours & hours online before posting and been through similar problems in previous grows... BUT I simply need your opinion...

From what I'VE gathered, the plant is suffering from lack of nutrients. I have not feed them anything but the soil they are in and 1/8 teaspoon of seaweed extract with watering. They sprouted on July 28th & transplanted on Aug. 21st.

If it was your grow and this was a problem you encountered... What measures would you take to correct the problem??? :bigjoint:

Ya nothing different at all. Just that the yellowing one was growing much faster than the other. Yet the other looks shorter and much greener...at least a much darker green. I think it's time to feed them.

I feed them today (aug.25th) 500mls - 1/4 teaspoon of FF big grow & 1/2 teaspoon of seaweed extract. PER PLANT.

Do you think that is a sufficient feeding?

They are in a 12" pot.

I just toss some milorganite in em when young like that, then just water em... seaweed wud still be fine. The shit makes em lush and never a fear of burning nor underfeeding.. cheap too, $12 for 25lbs at big box store

Seaweed juice is wonderful but it normally contains only trace elements of N. Its also very salty so be careful using it,

Could you take a better picture without the light and just use the flash. It's hard to see the actual color of the plant with that kind of lighting.

Ya I will for ya when they wake up. I do 18/6 and they are in the dark til 1. Check back in a few hours and I'll post another pic for u.

Doesn't seem like a lot to me but I'm not familiar those nutrients.

When you water are you letting the pots get dry enough that they feel quite light then soaking them to the point of saturation?

Volume rather than size of pot is what I go by but 12" sounds like around 2gal/8L and if so then 500ml seems to be about half what it would take to water a pot like that in the way I described. About 1/4 or slightly less of the pot's volume is what I give mine. My current 3 are in pots about 15 -16L of soilless and take 3L to soak it to the point of runoff without there actually being any runoff in the catch pan. There might be some as I'm watering but a half hour later it's been sucked back up into the pot.

I would go 1/4 to 1/2 of the max recommended for one good watering then skip the nutes for one or two waterings. depending on the plants sizes and the rate of growth.

I'll be happy once most everything is in DWC and I just fill to the line with RO and check ppm to know how much nutes to add. Tired of playing in the dirt for half the yeilds in twice the time. :)

Looks like our friend the Fungus Gnat. Seeing them around your plants? Yellow sticky traps to catch the adults. Various ways to control and/or get rid of them but I'm preparing to attend a wedding this afternoon so don't have time atm. Just do some searching for gnats in the forums and you'll find lots.
