flushing question

Okay so I have a lemon skunk that is showing signs of to much nitrogen (stretchy, curled down leaves, slow flowering). I plan on flushing tomorrow with ten gallons of RO water, since the plants are in five gallon pots. My question is how long should I wait before I start applying nutrients again?

if it were me id jus quit with the nutes and jus add molasses at every watering instead of the nutes...unless u have like a bloom buster or something strickly for flowering then id jus wait until it dries out real good and add then and still add the molasses tho...it helps fatten up the buds and make more dense.....1 tsp of non-sulfer molasses per gallon water

I should also add that the LS is only three weeks into flower. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never had this problem before.

Check out greenhouse seeds on YouTube watch a couple of there grows they show the flush real good. Personally if this happens to me, I mix a nute solution at 1.3 ec and flush through until I get 1.3 out of the bottom of pot. Same way as on the greenhouse movies. It's just backing off any extra food that may be in your medium. It resets your nute level back to a good level for the plant and adjust from there. This isn't to be confused with a final flush that u would do at harvest. If you flush your medium with only water and it's still early in the flowering cycle I would feed pretty quick after that. You don't want your plant to unlock and not have any food to work with. Hope this helps I tried to make it as as short and to the point as possible.

Argh!!!!!

No it doesn't.

A small amount of the carbohydrates is absorbed by the plants, but most of what's added using molasses actually aids the beneficial micro-organisms in the rhizosphere as it acts as a food source to them aiding their symbiotic relationship with the plant.

Please don't spout out garbage about molasses fattening buds and making them denser when actually it does very little in that manner.

You can use molasses at ANYTIME not just during flowering.

Here is an article I copied from an indoor gardening magazine about carbs and amino acids.

Thank you. I am a little confused about the 1.3 ec. But I will look in to that video
