First Grow - Super Skunk

Well I felt like I should post my grow since I've been commenting on others around here. This is my first serious attempt at growing. Tried growing outdoors once but didn't put much effort to it. Went out of town for a couple weeks and lost it.

Growing a Super Skunk crossed with either a Chocolope or Maui Waui. Found the seeds is some buds gifted from a friend.

Growing in a 2 x 2 x 5 GrowLabs GL 60 Tent. Growing in soil, some left over Super Soil mixed with some bulk soil from a neighbor, no idea whats in it really. Flowering under one Lighthouse Hydro Blackstar 135W LED and supplementing with 3 x 23W and 3 X 46W 2700K CFLs. Used the LED and 6 x 23W 6500K for veg.

Originally thought I would try to start a 12/12 perpetual grow, but shitcanned that idea after 6 days and switch to 18/6 for 3 weeks. Flipped to 12/12 and am now about 6 weeks into flower, though when I switched to 12/12 she was showing preflowers but really did nothing more for 16 days until I figured out I was running my tent wrong and had a light leak. So it's been almost 4 weeks since fixing the light leak and the plant has started to really flower.

I have been battling high and low humidity and my temps typically swing from 77-78F with lights on to as low as 55-56F with them off, but have reached into the low 90s for short periods. Humidity has ranged from 30% to 99%, in fact I think it wa making its own rain a few times during veg. Really trying to get a handle on it now that she's flowering.

Currently feeding 0.5 tsp/gal of Jacks All Purpose and 0.5 tsp/gal Jacks Bloom Booster with every feeding, which seems to be about every other day. Watering based on weight of the pot.

I have made a ton of mistakes from my setup to how I operate but I am learning and am already looking to my next indoor and first outdoor grow this coming season.

The plant got super bushy and has filled the tent to the point where many of my lower leaves are being shaded to death. I think it stretched a ton because of the light leak, but its all good. Going to ride this bitch out to the end.

So here she is, what do you all think. All comments and criticisms welcomed, here to learn.

Yep, that's my plan, riding it to the end, whenever that is. I'm just hoping it bulks up a bit between now and then. I think I'm a bit under-powered, but we'll see how it goes.

Yep, thats exactly why I chose it. Can't wait to see what the final dry yield is. However it turns out, I'm hooked on growing and will need to get the next one going soon.

if bottoms branches are not getting enough light cut them off will not produce good buds and will increase yield from the buds at the top were the light is good job so far

Thank you MG. It was CFLs and 135W of pure LED power!!! Lol!

The buds are a bit fluffy. I just put them into jars for the cure and the weight was around 1.5 ozs. Not too shabby, but I know I can increase my yields using the light setup I've got with a little plant training. Nonetheless the buds are quality, which was my main goal for this first grow. I'm going to try Uncle Ben's topping method for 4 main colas for my next grow.
