its hard to tell, how long have they been in 12/12? or have you flipped the lights yet? also do you see 2 white hairs protruding from any of the nodal points?

the pic 911 the lat one looks to be a male but do not cut it down yet wait a few days an see if the pod is like a tear drop (fem, single with white hairs) or like, what I believe it to be, little grapes(male, single or multi with no hairs) or hermi has both tear drops and grapes with white hairs.

yeah i don't know why that last pic is half the size... gremlins.

errrm. plants was stretching i think cause i had the light too far away... rectified (but too much & singed new growth!), hopefully found a happy medium :)

i'd left it in a pot too small for the growth too long... perhaps this is whats caused the red stem, i've repotted recently and it seems to be a lot lot better than it was.

this is my first grow & i just need to get my head round what causes what etc. thanks for posting

I see what's happening, the plants are growing. Just fine, it appears.
If you're asking what sex, you can't tell that until they switch to flowering.
The red tinge to the petioles is normal.

heh... i'm no photographer, but ok for a phone i thought lol.

i'm not convinced either so like i said i'll leave it. got another 4 germinating now... :)

i'll try & get a *good* pic each day so hopefully i'll catch it early if it is male (having said, there's nothing around it so i'm not in danger).

i'll try not to flood the thread with a load of pics of the same thing too, and once again, thanks :D ;)
