Evaporating air cooler as a humidifier in a tent

It gets hot as balls here in the summer, and surprisingly my basement stays super dry (50%rh max.) Would something like this be a good solution for both temperature and humidity inside a tent?

If you have a tent and it's set up in the basement I should think that a powerful inline fan will do most of the heavy lifting for you in regards to temperature and humidity issues.

Not if its 85 degrees and 40% humidity in my basement, which I'm pulling my intake from. I have no AC in the basement.

Idk how much cooling that will actually provide, but they are cheap and im sure you'll find a use for it if it dosent help in your tent. However cooling off the basement (air you draw into your tent) is the real solution. You should have air exchange and have what's coming in at about 70 -72, your tent will say about 82 give or take a few
