Switched my lighting out 10 days ago from HPS to 2x4 foot, 8 lamp T-5 HO fixtures with all lamps now at 2700k.
Nutes: Flora Nova Bloom and Bud Candy.
So far I have seen what I would call "normal" growth since switching to T-5's. Didn't seem to matter to the girls at all. I'm also growing out a few Kosher Kush's, BF Bluecheese, and trying some GHS Chemdog. The CD seems to be a light feeder, I learned this the hard way buy burning the poor things.
Very stinky girls for sure though. BC/Kosher day 19 flower.

I'll be interested to see how the Durban manages with the T5's, especially considering it's a pure Sativa. I've never tried DP, but have heard good things. Including the unmistakeable licorice taste. I'll be watching the results, as I'd love to try the Poison under some LEDs one day. Looking good so far!

I'd say the taste is like rocket fuel with a creamy undertone. I can see the black licorice comparison to the smell, but not the taste....of this pheno at least. It's a very tasty strain for sure with a heavy sativa hit.

Hmm, interesting about the taste. Could definitely be the pheno, but I find taste is also pretty subjective. Do you find it too racey, or is it one of those more clear and uplifting Sativas? I remember Maui Wowie giving me that intense sensation of being on top of a mountain, but all the while feeling safely planted. That single experience made me realize what Sativas were really capable of. DP is definitely on my "must try" list, so I'll certainly be checking out your progress!

This pheno seems to be more clear and uplifting. Less experienced smokers have reported the racey high. I've had a couple of white knuckle moments on her, but, that's a sativa for you.LOL. I also find she's a fairly quick finisher for a landrace sativa. 9-10 weeks indoor.

9-10 weeks isn't bad at all, though patience is always a virtue when dealing with a pure Sativa (or so I'm told). Is it Dutch Passion's DP you're growing?

Nice DP plants from Sa good to see someone one of our landraces . They do have quite short flowering times for pure sativa`s other nice strains to look out for from around here are Transkei fini a finishes very fast for a sativa and stays small and swazi but this plant gets huge .
