DIY with Quantum Boards

Thought I'd share a few pics of my plant as she comes down tomorrow. I've been so excited leading up to this moment but as I began prepping the room before the final lights out, grief overcame me. Maybe I'm just a softy :)

This 1st picture is from 3 days ago and the rest are from today. Today happens to be day 71 of flowering.
(16) QB 288's - mostly 4000K

The size of the flowers are a bit smaller than what I had hoped for but I think it's fair to attribute that to genetics. As far as quality goes, you can be the judge. But I think it's pretty breathtaking.
I ran each of the boards at a measly 60 watts. It's just really hard to comprehend how amazing they are.

At any rate, I want to thank the gang at HLG and this entire community for the amazing work that you all do!

Can do 2 in series on a 240h c1050 so will need to do parallel on the c2100 to fit more than 1
How do you calculate it?

I need to wire them up everything else is done.
I have looked and just not 100% its parallel configuration, i believe it should be for the two 304s w 240-2100B. Just want to be 100% before applying voltage.

All of the sugar leaves will likely be made into bubble hash. And I've also got my eyes on a press - maybe a nug smasher. As far as all of the crusty fan leaves that are burned from the LED's, well those are going to my inlaws :)
Greengene's put out another vid on making your own press with a discount hardware store press. Total spent on the build was like $350-$500 depending on how nice of a press you get.

Yeah dont just use one board on there. Will be 108v x 2.1 amp so 220w ish. Wire the two parrallel to get 1050ma to each board

You have to be VERY careful buying non HLG boards. A lot of typical theiving Chinese seller making copies and usinf Epistar chips and telling you there are Samsungs... Epistars are the bottom of the barrel chips, you know, like what is used in cheapass burple ebay lights. We had someone come into this thread trying to say his boards were as goods as HLG's........... till he tested them and found out why they were cheaper...........................

Yeah apparently I was a bit confused lol. Are there other lights with similar form factor that are better than the samsung models?

why can't women keep their hands off of shit that's NOT theirs.......... shoulda mashed her hair dyer...lol

My ex-wife chucked the board across the room and damaged it. (Note ex).

266 diodes are still working just fine. I have used the board for about three months now. I have been running it at full power to compensate for the missing lights.

you need to wire in parallel running 2 QB 304 on that driver, it won't produce enough voltage to run 2 in series and you really wouldn't want to anyway, those boards would be driven at over 200 watts each if it had the power to do so!

Do you guys think if I added another 320 in my space it will be overkill? I would run each 320 at 175 watts. I was also thinking about adding two elite' instead of another 320. Or possibly doing two elite' in between the 320'. I'm really not sure what to do, all I know is I want more light. My thought is more light at less wattage to be more efficient. Dont get me wrong I love my 320 kit. However still being new to led I'm wanting to see if I can improve my lighting conditions.

I run four, QB 304 boards in a 4x4 tent at 85 watts per board drawing 360 watts from the wall. So far, thats been about perfect! Your plant of two 320 kits would work well

I could use some direction on what would work for a no till situation indoor on like a 3x8 frame. I've been trying to wrap my head around this but I could use some help. I've seen cobs at like 3k or 3500k and that works for both veg and bloom but I know qbs are the newer tech. Any advice? Thanks
