how long can you clone a plant. i've been cloning a plant for over 2 years now. it's really good shit and i'd hate to lose this strain. like to get a male someplace so i can breed it, but so far no luck.

You can clone a plant as long as you care to. Sometimes you can get a "genetic drift" or see minor changes in the plant, smell one time not the next and such. I think in order to prolong taking clones from a plant especially a clone from a clone I wouldn't take cuttings from flowering plants. I just think this is where most of the changes you see in the plant over time, but that is just my opinion.
Good Luck and Happy Growing

I have one friend that has been cloning the same plant for over 10 years, really. It seems fine to me. I won't clone a clone more than 2-3 times. I prefer to get new strains. Also I have a friend that only takes cuts from flowering plants, why? I dunno. Those clones look like shit for the first 40-45 days and are never as potent, etc as mother was.
