Changing Light cycle of autoflower mid boom??

Hey peeps

I'm currently having an autoflower in bloom with the lights on 20/4. I just ordered some killer silver haze (normal feminized) seeds and I don't really feel like waiting for the auto, since it's a pretty small plant. Would it be a bad idea to put the other seedlings in the same tent and switch the cycle to 18/6?

I'm growing full spectrum LED btw, so the spectrum isn't a problem

Peace :bigjoint:

If you are talking about dropping autos from 20/4 to 18/6 and those has moved to during actual flower ... it may drop you slightly on yield , MAYBE ... BUT mostly SHOULD it would be ok. If they are blooming properly then you will be good. But once you set the cycle ... you are stuck til the end.

Anything less than 18/6 will drop performance on autos .

I pop ALL PLANTS under 18/6 .... for start and vegging ... once autos throw sex and preflower around week 5 or so ... they could either stay AND regulars pulled to another tent to 12/12.
With 2 tents or spaces you can do perpetual grows - one tent for autos ( start to finish ) and another for 12/12 flip plants.

With a space running a static 18/6 or 20/4 , you can grow all the autos you want PLUS grow out seedling , early veg plants , even a plant you may want to REVEG. Autos NEED a stable cycle to perform , flip flopping light can stress them , hermie them , even stunt them.

They are hardwired to grow and finish ... usually around 90 days ... so it is hella easy to goof them up.
