Haven't seen his show in awhile, I came across this article and found it pretty accurate and interesting. May be time to start watching his show again.

Maher is a smart man, no doubt. I would enjoy a conversation with him very much. So, I'm surprised and not surprised at the same after time reading this article.

I'm not surprised that Bill Maher has this observation, he's a smart man. He can think critically and analytically. And he isnt afraid to piss people off or discuss difficult topics. I like that about him.

I am surprised to hear it being said, by someone with his stature and history of liberal support. Is he bordering on treason within the liberal world? I wouldnt know. But I do know statements like this can cause whirlwinds in that land, because it places blame and responsibility at their own feet. Most people dont like to be at fault for something they perceive as bad.

Could this be described as a potential slide to the middle? Dare I say, to the right? Definitely doesnt seem to be a move further left.
Curious what you all think

Sanders was a guest on Real Time repeatedly. Bill would let him come on monthly if Bernie wanted to.

I think Bill wanted to defeat Trump and expected Democrats to 'fall in line' for that reason. If the Clinton-Sanders race was razor close (I voted for Bernie) I might have been upset. 4 million votes is a lot of separation. I may have seen some 'dirty politics', I didn't see that it mattered in the primary outcome.

And of course you disagree. Lol.
That's because there's more to the story than just your broad stroke of why there was a 4M difference.

It's what was done from the very beginning.

you are blinded by your bias. Dennis Miller is a brilliant comedian, I dont agree with most of his conservative bias, but can appreciate his thoughts.
Which bias, do you think I'm like the moron in my avvi?

What the fuck are you blathering about? Bill is one of the most intellectual comedians out there now. I guess that is why you don't understand his humor, because it may be funny only to people who have an IQ that is over 100. Or maybe you don't know who he is, because he has never been on those TV shows that you mention.

At any rate, his political-leaning coincides with his intellectual slant, which means liberal, so I'm sure that is why you spewed this crap.

He has had his own television show for over 20 years, so obviously many people like to watch him.

Actually he is just another far left loser good for Hollywood and liberals but how many Texans you think give a fuck about Billy? Or any other red states for that matter?

Trump won the election in case you missed it. :)

I agree with him on weed but that's about it. I wouldn't say a brilliant comedian by a long shot. George Carlin was actually funny.

Burr and that clip are hysterical. On point too. Where were all these racists when Obama was elected? What, they suddenly appeared out of the woods to oppose a white lady? Lol.
